Just got done with my last session from Robert Pho, last month he did this with 4 hours:


Yesterday it took him the entire 4 hours to fill in all the little details. He said it was one of the most difficult pieces technical wise. Its all done and I am VERY happy with the end result.

Once u get some filler, post some pics, the sleeve is gonna be tiight!!! Im headed there next saturday, going for 6-8 hrs with Robert. Aye byrne , any word on getting tatted by nikko? My gf is a barber, and one of her clients last week got tatted from him. She mentioned how hard it is for me to get an appt. Turn out he only got an appt cuz hes his next door neighbor

from past experience, im looking for detail, and i know detail takes time. My forearm and lower arm (forearm/elbow)is gonna get worked on, and thats cake compared to ribs/inner arm. Maybe 6hrs also since i live in southern cali and might not get back to vegas for 3 more months. I know the $$$ adds up, so u planning saving a lil til the end of the year? Also did u guys talk about his availability? Im curious to know why he has a short wait considering his skillz.

When I 1st booked he was a 3 month wait, now hes 5 months, next available is December. Hes gaining popularit bro, hes moving to a bigger better shop VERY soon.

that looks like tristen zhengs work........I have a half sleeve by him and its terrible. He only posts his good stuff, and he does tattoos everyday, and only posts one tattoo a month, so that means about 29/30 tattoos are subpar.

Im currently waiting to have my half sleeve redone by someone else.

It is Tristen Zheng. BKS and Winson from the same shop (Chronic Ink) are also amazing. The only thing is, I'm guessing it would take 2-3 sessions for a 3/4 sleeve and I'd have to fly there and back every time... I've gone through a TON of portfolios of tattoo artists in Canada and I haven't found any that are of this quality yet. Looking to get a phoenix/koi/windbar tattoo in black & grey. Any suggestions would be amazing folks.

dayum. that sux. yeah just cuz an artist has a long wait list , doesnt mean hes great. Some artists are amazing at paintingbut cant replicate their skills on the skin when tattoing. I know of a few tattoo artists who do mostly painting, and make really good money , and hardly tatto, so they end up having a long wait time cuz theyre only banging out a few tats a month.

Check Guru tattoo in SD, one of the best shops out there

as above, guru is an excellent shop. if you are looking for somthing similar to the pic you posted, I would go with Kevin Dickinson or Champ. kevin's black and grey is really good.
