I am pretty sure the carbonation causes bloating, especially if you drink a lot of it. A couple years ago I used to drink it, and it would bother my stomach during cardio cause of the carbonation. I stay away from carbonated drinks in general.

IMO, it is not neccessarily that bad for you in moderation. If you have concerns around Nutrasweet (aspartame), then it is best to avoid it in favor of a splenda-flavored drink.
