IIRC Howard was trying to set Artie up with some chic who "was into heavy guys", Artie saw this as a dig at him and a bit for the show and called Howard out on it. Howard said something to the effect of he was just trying to help a bro out to which Artie launched into his "you're not my bro" rant.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm about 99% this is accurate.

I think most people would say Howard Jumped the Shark with AGT, but I'd say he Jumped the Shark after Artie left.

Seems like they kinda gave up since. Don't get me wrong, it's still the best show on radio.
