The condition of the paint, the reversible pad, and the fact that the pad can be raised high enough to do standing curls.
The Icarian looks better in the pic than it does in person. The BM also has a slightly smaller footprint, which is important when you're dealing with limited floor space.

Sorry for bumping an old thread...
My Christmas present to myself: 450lbs of Ivanko OMEZH for $.90 per pound ( the 10 x 45lb on the bottom of the weight tree)
I was a bit slow on this, so the seller already sold 2x45, 2x35 and 2x25 and a bunch of small plates.
They come from a very nice garage gym. THe owner has an R-3, TPB, Ivanko OBX, Rogue B&R, EliteFTS squat box & GHR. Oh, and a bunch of black ROEZH (that's why he wants to get rid of the OMEZH).
On a side note, the day I decided to buy the Ivanko OMEZH, this thing pops up:
http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/spo/3489651272.html
I've read that Ivanko has stopped making these plates, too bad they're not what I need.

Picked up the IM 120lb bells and bench with accessories. Thank you Keetman and others that provided advice and answered my questions.

Nautilas
I got this 1st generation Nautilas double shoulder machine today from a local high school weight room. It was free for hauling it off, which wasn't easy, online info said it weighs 840 lbs.

I made room(barely) by moving the grandkids stuff out of the garage. I'm going to use it for a while then decide to keep it or not. I really need to sell something, there's barely room to move between equipment in the garage area of the gym. That's the problem with an addiction.

Nice pickup for free. Guess it was impossible to resist at that price!!!!! Those are incredibly heavy to move. Looks to be in reasonably good condition. How is the friction on the movements? That machine is famous for being a less than 'frictionless' and lots of guys replace the chains with kevlar belts and swap out the bushings for bearings.

The lat raise is pretty smooth, you feel that its chains and sprockets, but it 's a smooth fluid motion. The shoulder press, on the other hand isn't very smooth. It uses rollers that the vertical rod moves up & down on, if I keep this , I'll look into replacing the rollers with a bearing setup. Overall it's in good shape. Online info said it weighs 840lbs., it took six people to lift it onto the trailer.

got me my new bob xl, and a glute ham raise pad. i guess i can join the legend fitness club now? . i paid $90 for the pad and $150 for bob. going to sell the old bob for $100 hopefully. should be able too. the bob xl has the same base as the old one so i don't have to worry about moving that 300+ pound sanded down base lol
the pad really works but the guy i got it from was really stern on me about my form. i'll figure it out. feels about the same as the full GHD i had before. this will save me alot of space . i can still do the back raises on my inversion table. review of the GHD pad incoming.
ps are bob xl's no longer sold? can't find them anywhere
just cause
my house looks like something out of silent hill lol

Got these small CAP dumbbells for rotator cuff exercises from Walmart today. Planning to get 10 lbs ones tonight to complete the set. After watching Lee Hayward's video on preventing/rehabbing shoulder injuries, I include the exercises he recommends in my every workout as a warm-up. Video embedded below.

Picked up a pair of like new Cap 100 pound plates. I needed them where my Keys 100 pound plates would not fit. Got them pretty cheap and surprised at how expensive the 100 pound plates are new.
I sure like the grip 100 pound plates when moving them around, especially on equipment!
My old Keys:

I picked up an very early model of the Nautilus Super Pullover last night. Have to put it together soon, since it was disassembled when I bought it but it is the same model as the one in this picture from IFR.net, a great resource for Nautilus info. I think I will need to reference their blueprints to get this together!!!
