Dont mind at all, cost me $350. It was listed for $400 and I told him the best I could do was $300. He replied with there was some interest in it and he would keep me in mind if nothing came through. I decided I didnt want to chance him bluffing or someone else getting it so I told him $350 and ill come right now. He accepted. I was happy, GHR dont come up to often around here.

I do a lot of tire flippin' weekly. I have the standard wide/short tire that I flip normally which really works my legs, back, and traps. I wanted to try a taller tire that would incorporate a shoulder press movement to get it flipped. Just picked this one up at the local farm equipment shop....FREE!

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Just got this bench for $75 and it turned out to be Icarian. Its heavy as hell 2x4 tubing throughout and in great shape. Then I picked up a spider/preacher.

Now thats a good deal. Icarian stuff is seriously solid and heavy stuff that will last a lifetime and one of my favourite brands.

I bought a large lot today (Power Rack, Lat Pull, Leg Ext / Curl, Dumbbell Rack, Bench Press, Weights, etc...) but here is what I am most excited about:
I will probably sell the rest of the stuff I got, but one bar is a Texas Power Bar (bar on right in photo) that looks like it says 1980 (pretty hard to read) and the other may just be a very common or cheap bar, but it is unlike any I have seen personally. It looks like there is a pin in the middle as opposed to the end of the bar which I have not seen before, you can see this on the photo if you look at the bar on the left. The hole in the end of the bar is also a cone shape inward. Anyone have any more information on these?

^I'm fairly certain that all Capps made Texas Power Bars have the 1980 stamping.. It's not a manufacturing date, if that's what you were wondering.
That other bar is pretty interesting.
Cool stuff. I'd keep em both.

On the way home from work on Friday-
I bought this off of craigslist from a local crossfit gym for 120$ when it was originally posted for 300$
I've been looking and wanting to pull the trigger on a higher grade GHD,
but for the price I paid I figure I could use this until i decide to upgrade and still get most of my money back.
I knew looking at the photos that the foot plate would be a bit small
but it's sturdy and solid overall and it still hits the hamstrings hard, gotta love it.

I shouted myself a new olympic barbell.
Here's how it arrived:
They beat it up so good that one of the collars doesn't spin.
I have a replacement on the way.

Thats a shame mate, any brand we know, or generic? And are they letting you keep the bar?

You figure that companies could do a better job shipping bars. My Troy TPB's packaging was in much worse condition, but at least the bar worked. The bar I received from Rogue only had the end cap off and the bar kept sliding out.
Good luck with the new bar when it arrives !"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do, than by the ones you did" Mark Twain

Today's score...
A set of Powerblock Personal Plus (20-60) for $40.
They're definitely not my first choice out of the Powerblock lineup, but I just couldn't pass them up at that price.Last edited by Stasher1; 08-21-2012 at 08:58 PM.
