Not meaning to boast, but I have been known to lift an entire death squad, and furthermore, throw them half a block away.

    What, it's a serious question?!

Okay. Well, just keep adding weight, and/or possibly reps sometimes, depending what program you're doing. Making sure that your form is good, of course, and that your diet and recovery are sufficient to support all this, natch.

Follow the program you're on, until it no longer works. If you're not on one already, see da sig.

You could google it and find averages along with what is considered generaly fit, intermediate, advanced etc. Like generally fit bench 1x bodyweight. Intermmediate i believe is 1.5x BW etc. I remember overal average bench for all males is 135, and for my age range its 155. For your age I think it is more... but it is better to base on a ratio with your BW
    The floundering has ended.

I curl 80 for my max. I'm 16 turning 17. I personally think curling is more impressive than bench.

There is no set standard for and individual beginning to lift as far as poundage determine your 1 rep max then from that determine and amount that you can control with proper form.

    Oh you bodybuilding hipsters.

Wearing your scarfs and beanies featuring your indy bands while you bench press mocking anyone curling dumbbells while looking in a mirror.

    My lifts -

    Bench Press - 253 pounds.
Bench Press With Dumbells - 88 Pounds In Each Hand.
Squat - At the moment 330 Pounds - But trying to reach my old record for myself of 385 Pounds.
    Deadlift - 380 Pounds.
Hammer Curls - Don't know exactly what my max is, but I do around 57 Pounds 3X10

And well for the heck of it, Arnold Press - 60 Pounds 3X10 - don't know the max here yet...

Still a long long way, but think I am doing somewhat okay:-)
