When is a 'protein powder' a protein powder?

So I keep seeing companies coming out with MRPs and try pass it off as a protein powder. Some supplements containing 50% protein claim to be a protein powder.

What do you think about this? Personally I believe a protein powder needs to contain at least 75% protein and NO added carbs, fats etc. Everything else is just a MRP IMO.

if it has just protein in it it is a powder. If it has more than 5g of carbohydrates or so its probably getting closer to a meal replacement.

I misunderstood, but still, if I add 1% whey isolate to flour you call it protein powder?
