BOO for tight pants... but YAY for feeling awesome! And those smokin' pics you took should reaffirm the fact that you still look freaking amazing, even if your pants are being stupid. Blame it on the dryer!
I can't wait until the day when I am consuming 2000 calories a day. That must be awesome!
Today's Thursday! That means tomorrow's Friday! Which means it's the weekend! Are you doing anything exciting? (For the record "Doing absolutely nothing" counts as exciting!!) Haha.
Have a great day, Lori!My Journal - Large, But Not in Charge: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=128025573

Thank you!!!!
Deload is over tomorrow! WOOOT! I think I'll go the the dollar store at lunch today and pick up some candycanes to put in the sleigh on the reception desk!!!!! People like candy!
Heya Ricki!! I laid them on the hot radiator and they dried extremely quick- so Stephen said it's very possible that they DID shrink! I never dried them with heat before, so it could very well be the case
I'd say on average I'm eating more than that- probably closer to 2200. I'm not doing a very good job at keeping trakc, but there's always beer and pizza on the weekend, so who knows! Hahaha! I bet you'll have so much more fun training with lots of calories in you! I can't wait until you do, either!!!
I can't believe tomorrow's friday again! Stephen and Andrew and I always make fun of the fact that it's ALWAYS garbage day. Garbage day is on Thursday, and I swear we're all constantly like "Garbage night tonight!" It just keeps being garbage night. The days are just flying! Holy moly! I'm suddenly not wanting the weekend to come because it'll be over again too soon. lol!
On Friday we're going to get the groceries and then relax! Saturday Andrew's having a tattooing party at a friends house we're supposed to go to- but not sure if we are or not Have to figure out how to get there since he's going super early in the day!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

HEY GUYS!!! Beautiful day here today! Went for a lovely walk at lunch time, as usual, but enjoyed it a lot today! Always nicer when the sun is shining Tomorrow is my first day back to lifting in 7 days! Biceps and chest!!! I'm going to do push-ups with a 45lb plate on my back! It's going to be EPIC! Yay!
Toying around with the idea of doing another stint of UD2 mass, since I have a steady schedule now! The only problem I would have is the workouts....We only have one oly bar and a few plates so we have to share, and I don't think Stephen would enjoy that routine lol! Maybe if we did legs together and worked out on seperate days or something. We'll see! I'm going to go get some work done, then I'm going to waste some more timeTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

Hey Lori! Looks like a lot of good stuff is goin on in here.
I love the boots that you bought! They do look comfy and warm
Your pics are looking amazing girl! There is a totally noticeable difference in your legs and glutes over the past few months, whatever you are doing seems to be agreeing with you! I'm sure the tight pants were due to the drying them like that, heat has a way of making things feel tight after drying lol. I agree, the nice thing about lifting is something ether numbers or aesthetics changes for the better, well if you do it right lol.
It's crazy how close Christmas is, I'm no were even remotely prepared for this but that's ok, I plan on making it work Friday is just around the corner again, I remember thinking the same things as you when I worked, the weekend came and went too soonIf this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.
I like eating, it helps with the not dying.

Hi Erica!!!!
Thank you!!! I was so happy- then I thought I was just imaginiing things or something- hard to remember what I used to look like, but when I look at the pcitures from a year or two ago I'm like "Oh, there really are a bunch of changes!" Makes me happy! I have't walked so much in my whole entire life since I moved! I think all the walking and lifitng and eating is doing some good! I've learned to just lower/adjust calories a little and letting my body sort itself out when I'm feeling fat rather than panicking and dropping them- so I think eating well and lifting hard is treating me better than my previous yo-yoing ways!
Me too! Not ready AT ALL, but I've got everything planned out in my head so I'm prepared mentally for what's to come, at least I think I'm just going to do gift cards for the family, and I got Stephen's gifts all planned out- just need to plan the order of purchasing things in correspondance with my paychecks haha! Our first Christmas away from home....Kind of sad, but exciting all at the same time!
Happy Friday Swooshie!
I need to rein it in a little too, methinks! Hahaha! At least be a little cautious since christmas is coming up! Gotta make room for all those cookeis/treats!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Today is good and bad, all at the same time! The bad first? I woke up with a yucky throat I was getting better, and then my throat got all flemmy and sore. Grrr. Probably pushed myself too hard yesterday- I tend to powerwalk a lot It's not "lets go stroll around outside," its "I'm going to walk as fast as I can for as long as I can." and I just boot it non-stop. lol! I have issues
My energy is OK, but not great. I can breath today though! Oddly enough- couldn't breath all week. Maybe it's just all draining and making my throat hurt. Oh, the joys! I decided for that reason to stay in today- I'm sleepy and it's really, really cold out today. REALLY wanted to go to Home Depot to buy a santa hat I found there, but just so sleepy. I need a good nights sleep!
Today Stephen and I are picking up the groceries after work, and then we're dropping them off at the house and going out for supper!! I may have agalss of wine with mine!! Andrew wil be gone all day tomorrow so I will resume my wokrouts, but cut the volume way down until I'm better. Just some weighted-push-ups, biceps, and some other things, but not crazy volume.
Oh! The good! I forgot! My supervisor came to me today and told me aout a job position that was recently posted in here! She said if I was interested in it that I should apply!!! She wants me to stay here permanently! yay! It's an Adminstrative Assistant position! Benefits and possibly higher pay! I emailed the woman in charge internally this morning with a note and my resume Wish me luck That's the position I want the most besides being a marketer! I'd love to ahve that title on my resume in teh future!
Well, I'm going to go brush my teeth and wash up before resuming work. Back to reception desk and internet browsing. lol! Be back in a whileTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

Ewww icky sore throat! It's the constant winter cycle of congestion and drainage - I hate that!
That sounds awesome about the job - I will be crossing my fingers for you. Benefits and a raise - nothing but good there.
Good luck starting back up tomorrow - looking forward to when you are ready for those epic plate-weighted pushups haha!!

Haha! "Sick" workouts is what I'll be doing this week though, unfortunately lol! Sort of got worse instead of better. Yay.
THanks!!! I'd love to get benefits! I still need to get braces. And I want laser eye surgery. And I have expensive prescriptions I buy monthly. And contacts, and eye appointments... Benefits would be amazing
Thank you!!!!
I didn't have any wine after, but we did have beer and pizza! Hahhaa! Meal of champions!

Hey guys! Lori's sick! Actually sick now, rather than borderline. It feels like I swallowed some razor blades. But I already took a deload week, so I'm going to try and get some workouts in this week, just to keep my strength up Very, very low volume since half the reason I'm sicker is because I never get any rest, and maybe 1 lift a day. Today was weighted-Push-Ups! I got my 45lb push-ups!!!!! Hard though, I'm kind of achy and weak feeling- but I did it!!! WOO HOOOO! Maybe tomorrow I'll do a back exercise. Or deadlift for 1 heavy set. Depends on how I feel
Today's Super Low Volume Workout! (I feel silly calling this a workout..lol! )
Weighted Push-Ups:
BWx10
BW + 20lbs x3
BW + 45lbs x2 (PR! +2.5lbs, +2 reps)
BW + 45lbs x1 (PR!)
BW + 45lbs x1 (PR!)
BWx19
Annnd done. Haha! Excellent. I am going to go shower, and then I'm putting on my pajamas, and then I'm going to go vegg out on the couch. I have never been so excited to do that in my entire life Hope you are all having an awesome weekend!!!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Subb'd cuz you live close to me
'Cause sometimes you just feel tired, you feel weak
And when you feel weak you feel like you want to just give up
But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength
And just pull that *** out of you and get motivation to not give up
And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you want to just fall flat on your face and collapse.

Hey guys! Those push-ups yesterday made me incredibly sore! Haha! Wow! Today I feel much better after having the most awesomely relaxing weekend Today I would normally do leg day, but I don't want to push myself too hard and be sick for longer, so I my just do some box squats and call it a day. My sore throat is completely gone, but I still can't breath/am tired. Mehhh!
Today we're going to the mall to do some christmas shopping! WOO! After thinking about it for days, and days, I think I want to throw in a small diet phase soon. I feel like I'm getting a bit chubby, I think I may have been very sowly bulking, which is awesome, but I feel like I'm getting too big. Hahah! I need a measuring tape, but I'm sure my thighs are inches bigger. They feel huge! I'd like to lean them out more and see how they look!!!!
Once I'm better I may try a day or two of UD2 and see how that complies with my current lifestyle/working abilities/thinking abilities. If I don't like it- I'll do something normal...I don't know what I'll eat for lunches though- that'll be the only hitch. I will think about it for the next few days, anyway Actually, scrap that. I'm just going to regular diet and keep calories and eat 1500-1600 cals, ~130g of carbs all week and do my usual workouts, then do a small carb load every Saturday and do a power workout every Sunday.Last edited by gobbles23; 12-02-2012 at 07:06 AM.
