Arrow Cut or Bulk - need advice. Goal - Zyzz body

    Hey guys!

    So here is my story.
I started Starting Strength in Feb 2012. Increased my Squat from 30 kg to 105 kg x 5RM. Then decided that it's too heavy and I prefer stay with something a bit safer so I switched to All Pro's routine (I had a back problems in childhood so decided to get to 100+ kg a bit slower then on SS).

    My current Weights are:
    Squat: 72.5 kg x 8
    Bench: 62.5 kg x 8. (with SS i made it to 68.5 x 5RM)
    OHP: 30kg x 8
    SLDL: 65 kg x 8
Bicep curl with straight bar: 30 kg x 8.

I eat Clean during the week but cheat a lot on weekends the whole year.

I go to Gym 2-3 times a week because of rough schedule.

Last month I was sorta Cutting because I really want to see my abs first time in my life. But still no result.
I follow Low-Carb diet, but thinking to go Keto just to lose that fat.
I follow Low-Carb because it's just easier for me just to exclude most bad carbs like pasta, breads and so on..

    This is July 2012:

    And this is August 2012:

I don't like how I look like now, but when I have less fat I feel much better. I already start thinking that I dont see my abs because of my bodytype or something. But still there are lot of fat I guess.
What would you recommend me to do?

Also what would you say about my aethetics - I want to remove that belly hair, but my girls says they love it and beg me not to do it.

    My supplements are:
    Trutein Whey Protein
    MultiVitamin - Orange Triad
    Creatine
    Fish Oil.

Well.. at first place 2-3 time a week isn't that bad for guy working in Investment Bank.
Second - sometimes I just afraid for my immune system, I leave home at 7 am and get back at 8 pm. I make it to the gym at 9pm, then back home at 10:30pm, and go to bed at 00:00. So everyday I just get AT BEST 7 hour sleep. So i even sleep less then needed and you say I don't have enough commitment?

BTW, I work 55 hours a week and have custody of my son on my days off. I have no down time and I'm in the gym a minimum of 4/week.

Staying out of the OT debate here, the answer to your question is that you should bulk. You look little from the front, unlike most people, you should focus more on your chest and arms vs. back at this point. Post a decent leg pic.

I, personally, would focus on doing a clean bulk. You could certainly benefit from spending a good solid year focusing on a intense lifting routine without doing any cutting. Then after that maybe do a one month cut and you would look radically different. That's my advice based on my limited experience with lifting.

I never get 8 hours anymore. It was sleep vs gym and I know its not 100% good for me and I'm sure its slowing my progress a bit but that's the choice I made

You're about 4 years and 6 cycles away from a zyzz body. I'd sit down and reassess goals, what youre aiming for is too far away, you'll end up giving up before you even get anywhere. Make a goal that is nearer in the future and once that's achieve set a new goal

Well, okay, let me rephrase it: I want to have a nice visible 6-pack and I know it's about losing bodyfat, but only thing I'm getting now while on cut is just getting skinny. So the question here right now is:
With my nowadays body composition what would be proper for me to do to trasform my body into something that won't be looking so disgusting (I hate my "muffin tops" and my nipple halos).

I am no expert but here is my opinion

1.if your goal is Zyzz then you are going to need to HEAVILY abuse steriods.
    2. Don't be afriaid to go heavy.

If you really care about leanless cut until you just see your abs and then clean bulk. Cutting for skinny guys to start out will not see the quickest results, but after a short cut (2-3 months) you should be in good positon to clean bulk for mass.

Hard to determine you diet...how much protien, carbs and fat you getting.
2-3 times a weeks is not a lot for body building. Maybe consider getting some dumbells at your home?

I know it sucks to hear but to get what you want out of bodybuilding you have to be willing to do WHATEVER it takes-Period. that means if you work early and have to get up 2 hours earlier to work out so you can rest when you get off work, well then that's just what you have to do. The goals you have in mind are by no means unobtainable but what you are doing now will get you no where near them. There are a ton of 12 week programs available on bb, and help to get a self-program aswell so I'd recommend taking advantage of that mate.

as for body goes, you shouldn't be worrying about cutting you don't have the mass to make the retarded pain that cutting is (to me I LOVE TO EAT!) worth it, just eat well and figure out a good surplus to bulk with and hit the gym seriously. You aren't in a horrible position body wise, you just need to put the work in for what you want.

What's wrong with 3 days a week? there are plenty of people on this forum with cut physiques that ONLY lift 3 times a week.

Doing ss/sl or any other fbw routines when you're skinny is a great idea. I made that mistake with going to gym 5-6 times a week and doing split routines for 6 months with ZERO effect, after switching to fbw I've gained like 10 lbs of lean mass in a matter of weeks.

OP don't be afraid of your back, just focus on your form. I would advise you to try stronglifts routine, if you want to be aesthetic, with your frame you need to focus on your obligues and lats (pendlay rows and heavy DL's).

Guys, why is it so unpopular to get lean first and then start bulking? Why people 99% of time will say "get muscle first then cut"?

By the way could you please estimate my Body Fat %?

The reason most people say 'gain muscle then lose the fat' is because for one it is hard to gain muscle while cutting. It's a very slow road to do it that way, but it is possible. Also, once you gain the muscle the fat will be that much easier to get rid of since the more muscle you have the more calories your body needs to maintain it.

He said he works out 2 or 3 times a week, which means he is inconsistent. Twice a week is unacceptable. He cheats on his diet every weekend, all year.

You can have a cut physique only working out once a week. Being cut is a lot different than being big and cut.

It's also pretty consistent across the board in any endeavor to develop the fundamentals first (in this case building muscle) and then fine tune to become advanced (get cut). If someone is moderately overweight to start out then I would expect that getting into a decent strength routine will push down their bf% anyway, and they can really work on cutting after a few months.
