    Any Chiari Malformations out there?

I was diagnosed about 8 months ago. I've started working out 4 months ago and haven't had any bad headaches from it until recently. I did 1 set of db curls at the gym the other day and had to quit my workout due to feeling like someone hit me in the head with a hammer. I haven't been able workout for about a week now because of a non-stop headache since the gym episode. anyone else deal with Chiari or migraines and have some suggestions you can offer to me to help me get past this and back in to training?

    Chiari 1 malformation

I have what's known as Chiari one malformation what do I do when it comes to working out. I always get the strange headaches when I work out and I'm never able to finish my full routine. does anybody else have any suggestions on what to do and Who to consult about my issues. I used to be an avid bodybuilder and now I can barely lift at all I used to love bodybuilding and now I stopped because I am scared that something bad is going to happen if anybody has any information whatsoever about this malformation please let me know thank you.

Made an account cause I saw this thread, I was diagnosed with Chiari when I was 17, had an op to fix it the following year but before that I had these excruciating headaches like you guys so I know what it's like. Used to stop me doing loads of stuff. I found preemptively taking painkillers took the edge off the pain, sort of getting ahead of it if you know what I mean. Didn't fix it by any means but it did help a little. Sugar and fresh air both seemed to help too but none of those are gonna give you a ground breaking difference in symptoms. I just used to have to wait out the pain, sitting down with my head between my legs with my eyes closed/dark room I found was the quickest way.

yeah I have next to no symptoms since the surgery. I should warn you that my op didn't exactly go smoothly. Ended up in the ICU for 3 weeks due to complications. Doctors said it was extremely rare though and I've made a full recovery.
