Ya they give you those deals after you give them your SSN and Bank Account information. I tried it and it really works, go for it OP.

Just another clever idea to "steal" peoples money (not really steal, just the off chance that you actually get the winning bid is so slim, you have to keep wasting money on bid points).
Friend actually got lucky one night and bid on a new xbox and won it for around $50. Was in disbelief until it showed up at his door 2 weeks later lmao.

Not shady at all, really. The way those sites work is you pay a certain amount (usually ~$.60) per bid, and use those bids to up the price. So a MacBook that goes for $70, with the price going up a penny per bid means 7000 bids were used. 7000x.6=$4200 They make their money in the end, and you get you MacBook for $70, but pay a ton of money for bids. It's a stroke of genius, if you ask me.
