I ended up working 12 and a half hours straight, no lunch break, couple of bathroom breaks, that was it. Got out of work at 10pm and had to commute 1 hour back home. I cranked the AC in the car all the way up to stay awake, got home half frozen LOL.

Rough getting up this morning.

You had a much worse day than I had. That sounds like a total nightmare - I hope you got some rest!! I've done the AC thing at times, too!

I was in depositions from 10am to 5:45, but no lunch break and not many bathroom breaks. I scarfed down my sandwich on a bathroom break. Strangely enough, I did not get the usual snarky comments about not bringing enough for everyone, from the attorneys who are the ones who never seem to eat in the first place. Take a lunch break or bring a sandwich with you if you're so damn hungry instead of commenting on how I have eaten and no one else has. Not my problem!

But these all day deps just kill me. I am pretty much stuck in one position until someone has to pee - which you'd think would be once an hour but I swear attorneys don't pee or eat or need to move. They can go on for hours without stopping. And the people testifying - they don't even seem to get tired or need a break. I often feel like I got hit by a truck when I'm done. And I could have still made it to the gym but...needed to get home to see the kids. I wouldn't have gotten home until close to 8 had I gone and I don't like to miss a whole night with them.

I hope today was better! And I wanted to tell you that I thought of you today - got my straps all situated and ready, and then I felt stray hairs all over my face!!!

Me too, though it feels like someone removed all the caffeine from the coffee of the world as it's no longer having an effect and I just keep downing more and more of it.
