This is my first post and its definately the hardest because of all the trolls out there. But for the longest time I was ashamed of my body. I am 6'5 and weighted 140lbs. I never had the drive to workout and try to gain weight since I ran 80-100miles a week and did marathons and Half-marathons. But after i graduated highschool, I stopped Running and decided it was time for a change. I have been working out for roughly 7 months now. 6 months have been serious for me. but I am who I am. I still know I'm incredibly skinny and have a LONG way to go.
The Before picture was taken on 1/1/12 and I weighed 140lbs, THe after Picture was taken today (7/24/12) and i weighed today at 175lbs.
I'm open to all suggestions to gaining weight and what not, but if you don't like it, just hit the back button.

that's pretty damn good. not so much the visual progress, but the weight gain. that's a solid gain of 1lb per week while staying lean. another 30-40 pounds would be ideal over the long haul.
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

My diet really is just eating as healthy as I could really, lots of fruits and meat and fish, I stayed away from Fried food as much as I could. No fast food other than the occasional taco bell. As for a supplement. After every workout i drink a Protien shake (50 grams) and eat a grilled chicken breast(~20 grams of Protien)And a lot of water. Just normal stuff though!

me thinks you would MUCH prefer to be a taller, skinnier guy with a slender to base to build on then a short, stocky/chubby guy with some chub to build on.
I understand that you might have endured some self-esteem issues from this, but you are most definitely on the right track, brother. good luck and keep us posted!

Good Job man, definate improvement. Your BF is still really low, but if you wanted I think you could up the calories a bit. I'm bulking too but I'm going way over my maintainance so I'm putting on weight fast. Of course I'm gaining some fat too, but that's no big deal for guys like us, it's easy to cut that in a hurry. Either way, good work man!

Hey bro great progress, keep doin wutever ur doin it works.
“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”M.Ali

Well today I weighed myself again and weighed 172. I guess it's normal to fluctuate a few pounds? But I ran out of my post-workout so I went and bought some Wheybolic 60 and after talking to a few bodybuilders at the gym, they recommended to get some Muscle Juice and take half the serving size twice a day. I'm hoping it'll put mass without a lot of fat since I do run about 20-30 minutes at 7mph on a treadmill. But we'll see how this works out. Thanks again for the encouragement!
