Yup. It is really happening right now. If you've been around for a while, you know of the Baconator and myself. Just two teens from WA trying to achieve swelly status. If you don't know who we are- a short history of me:
I started seriously lifting in late Spring/early Summer of '10, beginning of June. I started at right around 135/135/225 from my best recollection. My form was awful and I weighed a whopping 160 pounds of skinnyfat. I, very luckily, was in a gym with world class powerlifters who saw me lifting day after day and not gaining **** all and so they took me under their wing. I did my first meet at the end of October 2010, after about 5 months of lifting. I was able to go 265/195/365 at 165, completing the hardest squat I have ever done in my life to date, and failing that deadlift once before actually pulling it on my next attempt. For the next year I trained... sporadically to say the least. Being 14 I had no transportation to and from the gym, so I'd ride my bike a couple miles. This got pretty ridiculous in Spokane weather when there was 3+ feet of snow on the ground, so in the entire year of 2011 I actually missed 25 ENTIRE weeks of training, with countless more days here and there missed. I did my second meet in Early December 2011 and went 365/220/420 or so at 180lbs. I continued to train fairly sporadically and decided to do another meet before I turned 16 and picked one at the end of February 2012... Unfortunately, I got a severe case of bronchitis and was bedridden for 2 or 3 weeks leading up to the meet, and was operating at about 70% at the meet. Once again, I went 365/220/420 or so at 180lbs. I was pretty broken down after that and kind of said **** it. On 3/23/2012, I turned 16. I immediately got my license and vowed to train to the potential I knew I had. In the past 4 months I believe I've missed one scheduled day of training and lifted one 10+ days that were unscheduled. My lifts have gone from the 365/220/420 at 180 to roughly 420/320/550 at 185. I look and feel better than I ever have in my life and I don't see those gains slowing down any time soon.
That was a brief training history of myself. Some goals I have short term are 495/365p/585 before 2013, which I believe I can achieve. Bacon and I are both training for the same meet in late Feb 2013, in which I hope to total 1450 as a minimum with a true goal of 1500. This is sure to rustle some jimmies at the age of 16. I'd like to compete at 198 for that meet.
Truth be told, however, I really don't care about powerlifting. I'm doing it because teenage bodybuilding is not a competitive sport, and young teen bodybuilders do not look good. So here is a quick transformation history of my body:
A few days after my Oct 2010 meet, which I cut for:
This was after I had put some weight back on after my meet. December 2010:
This was at the beginning of a contest I entered, April 2011:
This was the end result... l0l... June 2011:
This was prior to my second meet... December 2011:
February 2012:
June 2012 THIS IS THE ONLY RELAXED PICTURE OUT OF THEM ALL:
Same time, but a back shot. Yes, my back width is a lagging part. Working on it:
Not much else to say. There's a quick history and a quick look into the future. I've got a couple weeks left on 5/3/1 training with the Baconator, then it's back to Spokane and I'm going to hop on Madcow's again and try to bring my squat up a bit. Any questions, you're more than welcome to ask. I'll let the Baconator cover himself. I'm looking forward to a badass log full of AWESOME lifts, SWOLE progress pictures, and I might throw in some of my famous food pr0n once in a while. LET'S GET GEEKED BAYBAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Quuyyytee pics ^^^
Waddup bb.com homies,
I suppose it's time to get back to logging. I've been out of the forums for a while now, but I've still been training... kind of. I actually just took the past two weeks off because of a road trip to Cali and Band Camp , and then took 5 days off prior to that to stay in DC... long story short - this has not been a successful summer so far. Most of you know who I am, but for those who don't I'm a fellow WA brah who has been training since I was 14. I started out lean as hell and in really good cardiovascular shape at a whopping 5'8 122 lbs, but then I decided it was time to bulk up and quit being so skinny. I did well my first two years of training and put on about 50 lbs (not all LBM by any means but decent muscle/strength gains), but was always doing the traditional bbing splits with maybe 5/3/1 thrown in once or twice. It wasn't until I met mayweatherjr when I started strength training. At the time my lifts were about 365/240-245/405. I trained and bulked and eventually got up to 455/265 pause/405x4. Squats flew up on Madcows. Me gusta. I then proceeded to compete in my first PLing competition with mayweatherjr in the 198 category. I was around 193-195 gym weight at this time. The scale where the meet was being held at said I was 192, so I definitely still had a ways I could have gone with my bulk. Oh well, live and learn, right? It was extraordinarily fun, but I didn't hit any crazy PRs besides a little 10lb PR on deadlift. I hit 438/230/435 This is sort of where my training became iffy and went downhill. To be brutally honest I have not really made any strength gains at all since this competition. It could be due to me eating less, not being focused enough, or just not being as motivated, but this journal will help keep me focused on my goals in the future.
I'll post some goals I have as of now and for the rest of summer...
To be honest, at the moment I do not care much about strength. Soccer starts in less than 3 weeks so it's time to buckle down and get into f*cking crazy shape. I will be running 5/3/1 Mon/Wed/Fri, but I'll also be doing cardio 3x per week as well. Prowler, sprints, short runs, soccer, etc etc. I'm not going to be counting macros, but I'll just be eating healthier and exercising more. I also want to cut down on my BF% while I'm at it... why not?! I don't care about overall weight, but I'd like to be 10-12% BF by the time soccer is over. After soccer I plan to run Madcows or something along those lines again and get ridiculously strong and compete in late February with Ddon and maybe a couple other buddies. I'd like to be in the 198 division again, however as close to 198 as possible and leaner than last time.
I don't have any current pictures of me, but I do have some pics of me a couple months ago when I was 188-190 morning weight. I'm about 180 morning weight and 15~% now and looking a bit better, but feeling like a twig. As I get more cut I'll be uploading more pics, but as for now, sawwy.
Tomorrow is deadlift/press 3+ with Prowler directly following the workout. It's time to achieve swelly status and stop messing around. Letttt'ssss goooooo!live.laugh.lift

I started lifting. l0l
Fuark ye.
Fuark yeee.
Quick update on today:
Going out for a preworkout meal with the Bacon-eater in about an hour. Gunna let my food digest a bit, then go to Bothell Barbell and pull 460 AMRAP. 6 is a PR, and depending on how I feel, I'm looking for 8. Dunno what Baconus is pulling, but videos will be imminent.Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159714881&p=1213186101

Oic.
Awww yee. Good to have you brutha.
I am your sunshine, your only sunshine... I make you haaaaaaappyyyy, when skies are gray!
wot
You may outlift me. You may be bigger than me. You may have more resources than me... But you will NOT outwork me.
Today was deadlift day. Ate my preworkout meal with Mr. Bacon and headed home. Changed, took my preworkout, and we made our way to the gym.
Started off with complete lower body foam rolling.
Deadlift:
135 x 5
185 x 5
235 x 5
285 x 5
325 x 3
365 x 5
405 x 3
460 x 7!
I was so ****ing pumped. One of the most challenging sets of my life. Video starts at 12:00
Did a couple sets of straight legged deadlifts at like 95lbs and then got the hell out of dodge.Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159714881&p=1213186101

Deadlift
95 x 8
135 x 8
155 x 5
195 x 3
235 x 3
275 x 3
325 x 3
365 x 8 fuuuukin grinders
Going by memory, so warm-ups may not be exact.
Press
bar x 8
bar x 8
75 x 5
85 x 3
105 x 3
125 x 3
135 x 5
Read notes
Deficit SLDL
115 x 5
115 x 5
155 x 5
155 x 5
185 x 5
Did these in-between every Press set. I'll be going up 10-20 lbs every week.
Prowler
"bar" x 5
Caffeine crash started hitting me just prior to this. These 5 reps got me so fatigued I could hardly drive home after. Jeezus
Notes:
Mongolian Grill with D of the Dons preWO, Manicotti with the mayweatherjr postWO.
Extremely successful first day back after two weeks off. Tied my best DL PR and I know if I keep up the momentum I'll finally be smashing PRs again. I literally haven't had a legit press session in 4 weeks, so today's sh*tty strength was definitely expected. I gotta get back in the groove and remain consistent. TBH I was a little surprised I hit 135 for reps LOL.
aaaaaaand a pic to spice up my post and just to see where i'm at before I get reeaaaal lean. Also, you guys like my Venice Beach tank? Got that last week
