Well I personally would not make an offer, but if you're set on this piece then offer $800 with the bar and weights (looks like a basic set in one photo). Remember, you're going to have to probably disassemble it, move it from the owner's basement to your truck (rental?), move it to your basement, then reassemble. If you were willing to spend $1500 then you could do much better. Check out the Equipment forum.

Looking to spend less than $1500. I saw the amstaff ad and thought about it, but after doing some searches in here decided against it.

Happy to say I did pickup this "functional trainer" yesterday. Thanks to grapegorilla for the tip. It was disassemble when I got there, but looks to be in good shape and complete. I will say, that it's not quite a functional trainer as the height of the pulleys aren't adjustable on rails. It's more like three sets of pulleys, high, medium, and low. Only a single 160lb weight stack, so I imagine a 1:1 ratio bi-laterally and 2:1 ratio unilaterally. Can't complain for this priceClive, you're a good guy. - AttyGuy
