Dumping the rope, going to do a CGBP RP set first then finish with the cambered press down instead

Give it a bit more time before resetting, see if you can beat that just going as you are, but if you're going to reset you might want to take a different approach.
I don't think that'll be necessary though, just kill it next time

Didn't like low bar squats
Forgot to log legs yday, squats weren't great though: 140kgx4
Heres push workout from earlier. A lot of it was improvised and I wasn't focused at all. But I'll log the important bits
Bench Press
110kgx5 - yes. finally. been stuck at 4-4.5 reps for long enough
Incline BB Bench
80kgx8
90kgx7 lolwut
Then did some cable fly's, some side delt raises and some tricep cable work.
I don't like unfocused workouts but they happen from time to time. I got my bench improvement though which was the important part for me.
Deadlifting tomorrow, going to try 195kg for a triple.
Will make sure I'm focused for that lol

Thens some random calf work but ain't nobody got time to log dat.
I think squats only challenge me mentally lol. Reason I say this is because my triple today didn't feel any harder than 140kg. I think I lack confidence under the bar for some reason. I reckon I could rep 145kg-147.5kg for 3 if I had the mental attitude. Weird cause with deadlifts and bench now I'm confident as hell. Idk.

I can relate to the mental problem. I have always said that getting into the right frame of mind can make a make a set of 1-2reps into 5 reps. Today my mind wasn't there with the squats, my shoulder was bothering me and I could not get into my normal frame of mine and the bar just felt heavy, like a tonne of bricks, while normally I manhandle that ****.

Nose tork definitely helps. I just get in the zone by psyching, and say some of my motivating words... like "common, tight", i get in the groove of things and the weight feels very light when done right. It is definitely hard to teach someone this as it is largely individual in what works best.
Massive benching btw, you might be ahead of me on that one, only got 112.5x5 2 weeks ago , gotta do 115 amrap tomorrow, see how it goes!

Thanks man, I'm happy that my bench is coming along finally lol, I'll be sure to check your log to see how your 115kg bench comes along! I did mine earlier..
and yeah, me and Adam are pretty close on squats right now which is pretty cool :-)
