Ok so everyone I know says I am "just so tiny!" but I don't think I am. I am 20 and weigh 119. When I was 19 I weighed around 110 so I have gained weight...hopefully more muscle than fat. Although I do consider myself skinny-fat right now, but whenever I comment on how I need to lose weight everyone tells me I need to gain weight...even my trainer at my gym one time told me I could gain a little weight. Also every guy I have been with has always tried to get me to gain weight...Sometimes I think I look ok and weigh ok for my age and body type but other times I feel super fat compared to other girls. My sister says I should lose weight because she is super tiny. She is 24, 5'4 and 96 pounds so compared to her I feel like a whale. What do you guys think? Should I lose some weight or gain weight (as in muscle)? I will admit that I am not perfectly happy with my body, but if I should gain weight how much is ok to gain without losing my figure?

Definitely skinny fat. I was 115 in my teens and went up to almost 125 in my early twenties. It looked nice, but the bad thing was it was a direct result of my metabolism slowing down. Also, my body was too "soft" for my liking. I decided to go down to 120 and then gain weight in muscle format from there. Change your eating habits now before it gets too hard to do it. Lift, too.
