"Life is but a game, And once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box. No matter our nobility, we all emulate the same end. So take no pride in it, for it is but an illusion, we will reach upon the point where we will be judged standing alongside those we have commanded. Whether or not we treated them fairly predicts our outcome."

White Knighted.

A bunch of mods on regular misc basically made a thread promising to rep girls for the sole purpose of rustling jimmies. It was pretty funny. Apparently Jpenn was a recipient of a gallant white knight mod rep, actually looks more like 2.'On many levels, mathematics itself operates as Whiteness. Ah yes, I'm familiar with white knighting, for whatever reason I thought you were referring to some mod banning someone; a mod was 'working' someone or something. I've only had a one mod that I can remember give me reps and it was Alan Aragon in a thread suggesting books/people for reading about religion or something.

I would recommend all of Gordon Clark's books (cf. his free articles here), but it depends on if you have specific questions or concerns as well as how much and the quality of apologetics you have been exposed to. Look at the table of contents in the following books to see what piques your interest (ordered according to type and personal preference):
If you want a Christian view on the history of philosophy, try Thales to Dewey, Ancient Philosophy, or Modern Philosophy.
If you're looking for a short and simple defense of Christianity, see In Defense of Theology, The Scripturalism of Gordon H. Clark, Lord God of Truth & Concerning the Teacher, or God's Hammer.
If you're looking for more thorough defenses of Christianity, look at Clark and His Critics, A Christian View of Men and Things, A Christian Philosophy of Education, or Christian Philosophy.
If you just want free online resources, I would suggest Vincent Cheung's books Captive to Reason and Ultimate Questions. I would suggest reading the first 14 pages of his Presuppositional Confrontations, as that was my own first exposure to a well-presented defense of presuppositional apologetics.

I just got through the first chapter as well. WLC presents the history and some of the problems that have traditionally come along with the territory, so that was nice. He also provided some biblical justification for some various views of time - it seemed to me that, taking a step back, the Bible could be used to justify either a timeless God or a temporal one. Quite the pickle, Biblically speaking, however I am aware of how Craig solves this dilemma, but it was still nice to see something other than philosophy show up.
He also brings up Davis' critiques against each (either timeless or temporal) as a good back drop and also what Stephen Hawkin has said with regard to imaginary time. Also, while I'm familiar with Ross, I was not aware that he had a position with regards to God and time, so I learned a bit there. Ross's views on the matter (that God exists in Hypertime if I read Craig correctly) are interesting. I might have to reread Craig's criticism though since it doesn't exactly flow in my head quite right (not surprising as this was the first time I'd heard of Ross's view).

Well, the only real question that has popped into my head through the first chapter (aside from when will I be done this chapter), was regarding what the context of the hebrew for some of the quoted Enoch passages he uses to justify his position... will eventually take a look, but if anybody wants to beat me to the punch I won't miss the research.
Don't get set into one form, adapt it and build your own, and let it grow, be like water. Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless, like water. Now you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup; You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle; You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend. - Bruce Lee
