    My mindset is to be healthy, feel healthy, be strong as I can at the moment, and look good. I am not trying to compete or become a fitness sensation, as long as I see progress, and feel good...that's it. I just enjoy the feeling at the gym, as I am done that letting all the stress go and feeling relaxed.

    I don't consider it a "pain" it does require a lot more focus then most people think . it's not just about going through the motions . I genuinely love being there .

    have you turned it on yet ? I heard people saying back in October that there "resolution" was to get in shape in 2016 . why wait ? why not begin now ? if your serious enough about some kind of self improvement you get to it right away . life is too short , it will pass you by if you let it . if your resolution was to get in shape and your following through I congratulate you . consistency is the key !

    I just think goal by goal, with the thought on my mind of getting better every day. Each and every single day are opportunities for me (you) to be better than I was yesterday, to improve. The sky is the limit, and I will not stop until I reach it. Anyways, I love waking up every day knowing it's time to go to the gym.

    I've been bodybuilding for about a year and a half now. I've noticed tremendous change not only in my physique, lifting and overall health, but also in my mindset. I feel emotionally more balanced, my diet and overall well being couldn't be better. I keep pushing as hard as I can through every single workout, and it shows. It does kind of suk sometimes because I have never had a steady workout partner, but I've found this solitary sport is perfect for me. I'm not competing against anyone, it's me vs. me and i'm ok with that, i've learned far more about myself and my body's capabilities during my workouts and me-time that have totally changed my outlook on life as a whole. I know that sounds weird to some, but some will totally get it.

    Even though most of my childhood included physical activities of all kinds, I never had the guidance or information on why I was participating in sports, or why I shouldn't eat the things I was eating. I lost my self worth and confidence for a long time, and the tipping scales were not tipping in my favor. Formerly 300lbs, now teetering around %20 body fat and visible abs, life is looking up.

    Nothing happens overnight and lasting change takes patience, but i'm getting there and it's exciting.

    I actualy prefer to train alone . it's my time . something I enjoy tremendously and I need to be 100 percent focused . my mind needs to be in a certain place when im there . if I have a friend to train with , I cant be focused on what im doing if there going to be telling me about what they did over the weekend or what there getting there wife for her birthday etc.etc.


    none of that matters. my mind has to be focused on what im doing , why im there , etc.etc.

    people go in there and go through the motions and wonder why there not making progress. its a lot more then just moving a weight from point a to point b .
