My dad has one similar to it that I've fired with .38 special with no issues. I've never fired it with .357, but he says that he would recommend shooting gloves for practice. I'm sure that if I ever needed to use it in a non-practice situation, I won't really be paying attention to the extra oomph.
This is also on my list, but not until I can find a way to get one in CA.

Get a Saiga with a 20rd drum.
Anyone with large hands ever fired a Glock 30? How'd it feel?

What are your thoughts on those double actions with hammer? I was always kind of against them because I've always shot double/single but I guess in a tactical situation you would never use the hammer.
I got my ma a S&W small frame .357 and the only thing about it that hurts (unless you are shooting a whole box in which case yeah, it's annoying) is where the cylinder release scrapes my thumb (it's got really sharp knurling). My buddy just got a ruger .454 casul on what looks to be a medium frame and I bet that is killer. They can also shoot .45 colt.
We got dumped on with snow so that's been fun, but before I left this morning I cranked the radio and took off in the mounds from plowing alpha as fuk. Get bout 1/2 mile down the hill before I realize I'm pushing neighbors recycling can. lulz were had.Best Meet Lifts:

I was kind of against them at first too, but for close range in a tactical environment you don't have to worry too much about losing accuracy from a heavy double action squeeze. The big selling point for me was that I can carry it in my front pocket without a holster, and due to the sleek design I don't have to worry about any snags when I draw.
I concur.
Yeah, definitely. I may even buy a cheap flat bench on craigslist then remove the pad and add one with your specs on top of the frame. On a side note, I tried to rep you over 15k but you're on spread. Someone else will have to do the honors for me.

I do want an assault rifle but I can't justify that for any kind of hom defense. Mostly because I don't want to kill my f*cking neighbors while they are sleeping if I miss some @sshole that broke into my house.
Although, I watched a video of a guy hitting targets 100 yards away with that XD-S. Not bad for a 3.3inch barrel that could blow a f*cking arm off."Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats."

Plus, I'd probably get something like an AK74 or some variant. You can $hit down the barrel and it still fires just fine.

I will also be purchasing an LCR next year. I was looking at them earlier today, actually. I shot them right after they came out, and they have a surprisingly smooth trigger.
Doollas, go with the kimber. They have the new compact Solo that I am absolutely in lust over, but a 3 inch barrel 1911 will do you no wrong. God I love 1911s
