Most of Canada has a lot more to do with the USA than Europe.
-BC is similar to Washington/Oregon
-Prairies are VERY similar to the Midwest, esp. Minnesota.
-Southern Ontario is similar to New York
Quebec and the Maritimes are pretty unique tho

UBC is unreal, but it is stupid expensive too. Are you planning on going to school at UBC, because residence is managable and burnaby isn't too bad either especially if you are close to a sky train.Originally Posted by liore22
