Just explain to me what is strategic about counter strike?
AWP = 1 hit kill
AK and M4 were the only weapons mainly used, occassionally you get the odd MP5 or UMP or shotgun, but still.
The only strategic places to camp on Dust2 was the slope that the terrorists start with, if you were quick enough you would nab CTs running all the way across the map past the door opposite you

Counter strike is about as strategic as call of duty, lets get this clear

The fact that you mentioned UMP or Shotgun and failed to mention Deagle proves you're unqualified to comment in this thread. Not sure if you're serious about your dust 2 strategy, are you aware that Ts have to plant the bomb or kill all CTs in order to win the round?

CS 1.6 is the best back in the days. It's much more intense when you enter ladders and it's team vs team. ;D

Gears of War series is definitely one of the hardest (skill and mentally too).
not to mention it looks the sexiest in montages and has the best clutches:

Aim assist negated by the fact that you had to lead (which varied depending on if you were host system or not) + high skill requirement to use effectively + different usage at short to mid range = you bad at the game.

This by far. The learning curve is by far the hardest of any game out there. Learning the glitches (which made the game) and applying it ingame took forever to learn. Not to mention learning to lead (predicting your opponenets movement) your shots depending on your opponents ping. The skill gap between the tiers of players (elite, good, above average) where incredibly huge. It's a shame the game basically died out though. Almost all of the best players quit playing or are playing on private servers.

Surprised that none of the games from the Battlefield series are in the list. I mean, one could argue that the vehicles in BF3 do take a lot of time and practice to use.

BF3 is dumbed down and the vehicles are pretty easy to use.

Although this is third person (and first person). Tom Clancy's Ghost recon warfighter was very competitive and skill based. The one that came out just when xbox 360 was made. The new ghost recon just doesn't do it justice.
