I only picked vids that got to the point, not the highest quality gameplay necessarily.
Run and gunning in these games got you nowhere. If you sucked, it was made apparent almost immediately. No bullsh!t mechanics to help noobs/casuals out. You either put the work in to learn the game or were satisfied with winning 1/50 games.
I don't even know how people stand to play modern FPS. They're so pussified I can't stand it. The blame should rest on these 00s kids. BRB can't play a game without unlocks because I don't have the skill required to time powerups because I'm a fukking pussy.
Halo 1 was the only console game to make the list as it's the only console FPS with enough know-how glitches and mechanics to make it worth mentioning. Halo 1 1v1 was a thing of beauty. Naturally, the series would eventually be run into the ground by its retarded sequels introducing dumb sh!t like dual wielding, swords and other noob-friendly "mechanics".

I love COD, but if you ask why it's not in a top competitive ranking of all time, gtfo. Halo CE for sure, didn't get competitive till Halo 2 but CE was intense. Have had friends into CS and that **** looks intense at a high level.
