Thank you, it's a great post. I have to agree that sleep is very important specially people who work whole day like me and I always feel fresh when I took 7-8 hours sleep.

Is it okay if I take a protein shake and then take a 1-2 hour nap

Yes, its nice idea to take protein and have sound sleep. Even, you can take protein late at night and have proper 8 hour sleep. its beneficial for recovery of muscles growth.

This is great. Im one of the people that can't sleep more than 6 hours. Im just wide awake. Maybe its from school and work but it just doesn't happen but I'm jealous of those who can sleep like logs haha.

I am a chronic insomniac. No trouble getting to sleep but wake up 4-5 times a night. Seriously considering the melatonin route. Can't get it in Australia though.

Cool read. I usually set an amount I want to sleep rather a time I want to wake up at.
Since a sleep cycle is 1.5 hours, my alarm usually set at 7h 45 minutes (15 minutes to fall asleep!)

If I had to wake up at a specific time, I'd probably choose to wake up an hour earlier. That said, I still aim to sleep a specific amount each day.
Not sure which self-massager tool to use?

Good points! I would add, however, that insufficient & poor quality sleep has also been shown to cause decreased testosterone levels - and we know how vital that is for muscle growth & vitality.
