I'm curious to find out if it's normal that I'm averaging almost three-gallons of water in a day between first waking up and going to bed. I drink on average 8 1.5L water bottles daily and can really tell towards the evening hours if I've had enough water lately or not.
Anywho, is three gallons daily about normal for people?

I tend to drink around a gallon a day. How you get through three gallons without permanently pissing I wont know.

hince why i'm asking! I use a 1.5L bottle that i just keep refilling. By the time i'm starting my work day it's already been refilled twice and before noon at least twice then between noon and 9 it's another 3-4 times depending on how physically demanding my day has been.Originally Posted by Bema

About a gallon or so...if I'm not pissing every hour-2 hours and the color ain't close to white, I just keep on drinking
I try to drink like a cup or two every 1 hour until like 2-3 hours before bed so I don't gotta take a mid-night trip

Do you drink that much for a specific reason? In other words is your job physically demanding enough to require such a large amount? (high workload, heat etc) If not then there has to be some reason you walk around with a gallon jug of water in your hand. Is it your belief that you get some kind of benefit? Just curious!

originally i did it for A. the health benefits B. the challenge. my job plays big into it, i'm a beverage vendor so some days i'm just rolling around stores making sales and others i'm throwing trucks for hours, either way i do have a low level elevated heartrate for much of the day.Originally Posted by rand18m

Use to drink ~8-10L daily. Thirst has somewhat decreased, now averaging 4-6L.

Somedays I drink a ton of water.. other days I don't. I just always make sure I'm properly hydrated.
Learning something new here every single day... and I'm still not sure if I understand : /

2.5 gallons a day, Tuesday-Sunday. About 4 gallons on Monday, when I take a 2-4 hour bike ride.
I also piss about every 2 hours. Its summer, and I'm sweating my ass off all day. During the winter I only drink about 1.5 gallons a day, and piss quite a bit more.*** Never half ass my replies crew

I carry a 1 gallon jug of water mixed with 2 scoops of AminoX and drink that throughout the day. Plus whatever water I get mixed with my protein shakes, preworkout, etc. Plus the random glasses of ice water with dinner and what not.
