    Chicken & Carrots diet..?

2 of my friends who used to compete would go on a chicken and carrots diet for 2 weeks before a competition to shred right out.

i'm looking to do something similar to -shred- out for the summer (i've been bulking all winter) and i have a question..

i assume this works because it is PURE protein and PURE fiber, but can other pure proteins like fish or protein powder be substituted in once and a while or would that negate the effects of this very stringent diet? also, can the same be done for other veggies like celery, broccoli etc, or does this diet require nothing but carrots for its max efficiency?

    thanks!

This sounds like a horrible idea. The fat in this diet is almost non-existent. Protein is protein and switching out fish for chicken would be no different as long as you're consuming the same amount of protein, same with the veggies.

It worked for your friends because they ate fewer calories than they expended. Just eat your normal foods, just less of them, and/or workout more. Limiting to just two foods is dumb. Your body needs other nutrients than are contained in those two foods.

    Thread should be a sticky.

Fat don't matter. Hormones can be regulated with supplements. Haven't you seen all the threads about test boosters, bro?
