    New- Vegas Trip

    New to the site, and for the most part, new to dieting as well. I have been doing good so far for a few weeks and am going to Vegas this weekend. My plan is to still maintain to eat as clean as possible, but curious how difficult that may be, because I do intend to fully participate in what is the vegas nightlife.

    Anyone have any expereinces in Vegas while trying to eat clean, how did it go. I know the obvious answer is will power and to find a way, just looking for someone with personal experience.

    It's one weekend. Don't worry about nutrition, just enjoy yourself. However, that doesn't mean just go crazy and binge.

    Don't go to Vegas and try to eat clean. Maybe just eat less... try to avoid the best all-you-can-eat buffets that I have ever eaten? Or don't, and live it up... and back to the routine when you get back.

    I say just don't go to crazy.

    I am going to vegas too, I just plan on not eating and drinking to crazy and maybe hit the hotel gym once or twice.

    Dude, don't worry about it. It's vacation - just enjoy yourself. For the record, the food in Vegas is unbelievable. I was there in March and I'm going back in August. Let me know if you want some advice on good places to hit.

    ARIA buffet... Amazing! Stuff your face and don't eat veggies/salads... Get the expensive food, make it worth the money.

    Enjoy vegas, From experience over doing it will get you bloated wich might not feel great but you will get back to your weight before doing this in about 3-5 days and then just continue with your diet.

    there are tons of places in the casinos that offer many options - sandwhich places, salad places, stir fry etc. bring some whey protein with you and you'll be fine

    Yea, thanks. I was planning on keeping up with the protein and hitting up the hotel gym early mornings while the gf is sleeping. My only concearn is because I have quit diets in the past and I am on good track right now of about a month of eating clean. All the things that used to taste liek crap to me (un seasoned veggies, unseasoned tuna, rice, oatmeal) all are becoming acquired tastes. I dont mind them anymore. Im just thinking a weekend full of beer and fried/fatty foods may halter my overall diet and start to push me to the edge of going back to old ways....but I guess coming back after the weekend will be a true test to will power
