Good day so far today. Weight is up a tad, to 202.7 lbs. Had a nice 8 ounce top sirloin steak for dinner last night for my birthday. First red meat I can remember since prep started. So good. Went in over lunch today for shoulders, a little posing and then 25 minutes of MISS. Was planning on a second cardio session after work but instead going to do some "yardio" - digging out a 13x13 area to begin the installation of a patio in our yard for our fire pit. Going to burn way more calories doing that, I guarantee

I'm holding out hope I can come down another 10 lbs or so in 5.5 weeks. With every half pound I drop I'm noticing more detail so am convinced 10 lbs will be a completely different physique. It can be done!

Yesterday I opted to take off from the gym to rest my ailing elbow. Instead I went for a run after work. Turned out to be 4.25 miles in about 40 minutes and 780 calories burned (so many hills). Afterwards I did some more sod removal as we prepare to install a 12x12 patio. Woke up this morning and my legs are DONE! Gonna be a rough couple of days.
Weight holding at 201.5 lbs. Down 1.5 lbs week over week. Really was hoping for 201 even by tomorrow but not looking likely. Will be making some dietary adjustments either today or tomorrow.

Ron knows I want him to win his class so I can win mine and pose down against him again. I welcome the challenge.
Hit shoulders and 10 mins cardio at 5 AM today and spent a good 5 hours doing yard work (tree/shrub removal, mulch, etc. ) at a coworker's house who had been out of commission with stage 4 spinal Cancer. Should be an awesome surprise for her.
Came home, ate and did a 35 minute power walk around my hill ridden neighborhood for 475 cals.
Can't stop. Won't stop.

32 Days Out
199.6 lbs - new prep low
Big goal to drop under 200 lbs especially after already cutting 40 lbs of fat this prep. About one pound away from last year's show. Granted at that show I feel I had a little more size but I am doing everything I can to ensure condition is much improved and hopefully my best yet.
Heading directly from office to train legs and then likely treadmill cardio at home in late evening.

Leg workout was a success. Completely sweated through my shirt during the 80 minute session:
Squats - worked up to 335x3 and then drop set after that of 225x9
SLDL - worked up to 325x6
Leg press - worked up to 670x8
Did leg extensions, leg curls, standing and seated calf raises.
Sitting here contemplating hopping on the treadmill yet tonight. Legs are SORE. Can barely walk. We shall see...
