    Doing a bro split now, really fallen in love with hitting one muscle really hard once a week. So doing 5/3/1 followed by hitting the muscle hard after.

    shieeeeet nice man, i am at 165 right now, gained it pretty fast, started eating lots of beef, lamb, and goat. I have been benching 185x4, squats finally got to double plate for 5-7, and my deads are 255 for 5. By the time i come visit you, i should be able to see a difference.

    Lol that makes me so mad at myself :P I was hitting 185x 3-4 in the summer, but then I started getting this bicep pain so I switched to DB, now I'm at the 175x 3-4. But that 225 squat for 5-7 reps is good stuff man, my lower back keeps acting up on squat so I've lowered the weight and am working on form.

    Thanks giving day, the amount of calories I've already hit is around maintenance, tonight I'll make some serious gains. I worked today so I had a foot long from subway on break, then my manager let us eat the extra breakfast food and ended up basically eating 2 sausage mc muffins and a hashbrown, currently having greek yogurt with nutella and a protein shake. Turkey and pie tonight...
    With all this in mind I hit legs knowing I should be making use of these calories.

    You don't get it bro, this is every day for me lately! Lol, I'm so busy with school right now. I was at school till 2 yesterday, had to do an interview with a family until 4 for a paper im writing, then got food with my friend before going to the U to study, and we stayed there till 930. I had eaten like 1600 calories all day at this point (500 from Fiber 1 bars btw) and it took everything to kill that workout last night.
    Same thing today, was at school then another interview, then we had no food in the house other than these boxed frozen chitty meatballs so I ate like 30 of them (solid 800-1000 calories and 60-80 g protein). workout was mediocre.

    155x 3 (the bar they bought are dirt cheap and this one was sliding around and hurting my wrist so I stopped and switched bars)

    Didn't even check what I was supposed to do for my one rep, just went for it. This is weak compared to my old max

    Good stuff actually, three solid sets? Ill take it
    Dropped on the last set to 50s then 40s for like 6 reps each (to failure)

    Close grip bench/ skull crusher
    -Let me explain lol, I was playing with form and found a movement that felt like it exclusively hit my triceps, but it was closer to a skull crusher.
    95 lbs 3x6

    Then some actual legit skull crushers and pull downs.

    My triceps have been friend before they got worked two weeks in a row. Crazy.

    realized Ive been squatting terribly, not going below parallel. Started from the beginning now. Did 185 i think, struggled with it 5-7 reps, need to get it up asap.

    Not below parallel? son... I hit pretty deep and get 205, not bad.

    But honestly, if your hitting 185 for 5-7 you'll be able to get that up relatively quick. I'm surprised you didn't have to go lower if your used to not going deep.

    yeah i would just hit 90 degrees, not lower, now iam goin as low as possible. I rated 5 stars its a good thread, you have come pretty far man.

    Umm my goals are strength oriented. I want to dead lift 315, squat 240, and bench 205. 315 dead lift has been my dream for forever (had a 1-1.5 year lower back problem, never thought I would make it to 225 x1 lolz) so I'm really all about that man. The squat goes along with the lower back problem thing, so its like a big deal just to hit 225, a 240 goal means I'll still be above 2 plates when I cut. Then bench is just to bench above 200
    As for weigh, I was thinking I would slow bulk until 170- 175... or when I get too fat. Currently I can see the outline of my abs extremely loosly when I first wake up lol, so I'll keep going slow.

    I see looks like we got different goals, I am mostly mass oreinted then during the summer going to train so I can become a better athlete. I will be interesting to see how different we will look with different goals if any.
