read the book. Even if you don't normally read. Its soooooooooooooooo funny and more like a funny mate telling you a story. In all honestly its quite similar to the OPs musings except dare i say, funnier.

    Will you say yes, Jake?

I suggest you read the book by Danny Wallace then bro, it's a good easy read. And sure, challenge accepted! Will be fun when I go shopping, speaking to cashiers etc.

Would say yes, but we're not going to the play on Thursday, and looks like we might not be going next week cause it's not on next week apparently. Either way, we're still on for a date, actually texting her right this second.

I dont always have to say no, i go out and hang with friends alot, but lettuce be cereal, how many guys in a relationship could say yes to everything friends want to do and everything be OK. I need a balance so I can do this, or kill my Bish.

P.S. we own a home together its not like we live seperate.

Totally understand, find a compromise. Rather than saying yes to everything just change your mindset so that you're more open to everything. If going out with your pals is gonna cause a conflict between you and your mrs, perhaps reconsider accepting the invite. What I've learnt from my short time of saying yes is that it's all really about being open to suggestions and ideas that you would have instantly dismissed at first, so if it's something you'd usually say no to, say yes.

Someone posted a very good reason why something like this shouldn't be done, I'll find the post and edit this reply when I do.

    Edit: here's the post:

    good luck
Ratfish pretty much summed it up perfectly. If you tell people you're doing it it stops working and it becomes more about people taking advantage of your situation rather than things happening because you said yes to the opportunities.

Already had it suggested to me and unfortunately had to turn it down. It's something I've always dreamed of doing and would love to try but I wouldn't get insured to do it as I had heart surgery two years ago. Enjoy the jump tho mate, experience of a lifetime!

You can't skydive because of that medical condition? That includes bungie jumping or zip lining?

What would you do? I mean, it seems like an obvious choice to say yes but afaik it's somewhat prohibiting opportunities, lol.
