Ok, seeing as how I'm not a mother I didn't know that part would offend someone. Do you agree though that it's your responsibility to teach your daughter (if you have one) the right way to take care of her eyebrows so she won't have to go though the pain and frustration of overzealous plucking? (No offense in any way.)

I have a son and shop is closed re: babymaking, but I do agree that overzealous plucking is going too far like the chick someone posted ITT. however it is not always up to the mother to teach their daughters how to put on makeup and such. Most mothers do not even let their daughters wear makeup before 17.

It makes the eyes look much sexier imo. These boys do not even know the lengths we go to so that we are pleasing to look at for them.
You know how Misc. is haha damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Most women are quite capable of looking through various sites and places like Sephora to learn how to do it on their own.
Now why would I care about that? I just don't like when people bring moms into arguments and make blanket statements.*Stopped smoking crew* 2 years and 5 month bishes, and counting.*

Yep, the thing is to get the balance right. One can wear makeup and look fantastic, healthy and even natural. The problem I believe, is in regard to application, blending, thick base, too much powder, or wearing ostentatious colors, etc. All is good, and not many complaints are heard when we stick with a neutral palette, blend down, go easy on the base, or those hideous talc based powders. Nothing wrong with accentuating what we've got. But I love beauty, and all that jazz that comes with girl primp.

It is ALWAYS up to the mother to teach her daughter. What kind of parent wouldn't impart their wisdom onto their child? If she doesn't get information from her mother she'll go searching on the internet and find all kinds of bad advice.
And girls will still wear makeup even if their parents won't let them... they'll find a way.

That was some srs tax free cash buddy and I am an opportunist when it comes to capitalizing especially when my husband was out of work for 2 years at the time due to downsizing. Go ahead and judge, would rather have pedled black market cigs to feed my family than bitch about how we have no money. Begone.
