The main supplements worth buying IMO is protein powder, fish oil and creatine monohydrate. In the past I've trained HIT style (dorian yates) where I'm hitting failure on pretty much everything which I have to give credit to a lot of my gains. Currently doing a PHAT routine (layne norton). I'm starting to realize slow, consistent and progressive gains is the best way no matter what way you train. And you don't need to go balls to the wall every training session, as long as you are making gains every week.

Believe me. I never knew people could progress like this with the right mentality and plan. I'd have to attribute most of the fat loss to tracking every calorie that I consume per day honestly and religiously. No more guess work.
Thx! I feel the love in this thread . This is the best I've ever felt about myself and my body and getting better by the day. Of course I'm dealing with hunger pains on some days but just look in the mirror and it's all worth it.
Thanks!**Contest prep thread - Reppin 3dmj!

Awesome transformation! Gluck with the bb.com competition and your upcoming show. Are you planning to just slowly fill out until your show since it's relatively far away?
One more thing as I'm watching your friend in the white tanktop in this latest video, he should try to keep his arms more straight on the deadlift. It seems as if he's using his bicep to some degree to assist with the lift, which is basically asking for a tear.OG 2004 Join Date

Thanks Murdok! I gotta post my after picture Sunday. AHH! Coming up close.
Yea that's my boy Hickey. His form is getting better, he's brand new to training. So we been doing baby steps with the new lifters . Thx for the tip.
The newspaper picture is required to enter the 12 week challenge to prove the time you took the picture. It was a challenge hosted by Dymatize which allowed people to enter in the month of April. And 12 weeks after your start date is the end.
12 weeks almost up people!

Thanks! If I had to narrow down one piece of advice, I would say consistency. You need to be consistent on all aspects of fitness: nutrition, supplementation, training, sleep, etc. By doing this and giving it time, you will find out what works for your body type and where adjustments will be needed. I have learned more in these 12 weeks than I have in my first 2 years of training.
Thanks bud
Haven't measured, I'll have to get back to you on that lol.
It's hard to tell on paper where someone should be. I guess it would come down to how you feel. I felt my lifts were respectable and I gained size over 2-3 years so I was due for a legit cut. Took me a long time to finally get cutting right.**Contest prep thread - Reppin 3dmj!
