Checking in at 272.6lbs this week. Not bad considering the crappy food I've been eating.

Thank you for your comments. I read everyones comments & learn a lot. Ive been btwn 150-170 for the past 12 years (when not preggers). My heaviest was 200 a while ago. We have 4 boys under 10. Four pregnancies did a number on my body but not an excuse just means i have to work harder. Since I'm DONE havin kids so its time to focus on me. I took some pix today. Havent got the nerve to post them yet but im hoping i will soon. thanks again.

(I'm just sayin'....)
"It doesn't matter what exercise you do, but man was made to move, to eat sparingly, to work hard and to screw as much as he can manage. Do all that, and you will look as good as your genes will let you, be content as the arseholes around you will allow, and maybe get a few screws. The particular virtues of weight training are in the discipline it brings to both mind and body, and, if you do it right, it will make you look good naked and do well what you got your clothes off to do." Ya genetically your body stores fat in certain places before others. I store it mostly in my lower abs and lower back, but I have defined upper abs and lats. So once fat gets burned it will go from the last place it stored fat to the first place. Gets annoying but what are you gunna do.

Ha, Went out to eat on Sat, so the scale this morning said I gained a pound, but I'm hoping it's water too My body calipers seemed to indicate if anything a slight loss. In any case, this week I'll do better.
So my current weigh in:
6/15/12: 5'6, 155.5 lbs. (last week I was at 154.5)
So glad this thread is here - it's inspiring me to stay on track! Thanks everyone.

Had an awesome weekend! Ran 10 miles on Saturday and then did the Warrior Dash today. 2 killer workouts back to back. My wife and kids got me new New Balance Minimus MX20 shoes for the specifically made for the gym for fathers day. Best....gift....ever! Cant wait to try them out tomorrow, I'm sick of doing deads and squats in my socks
Diet wise, well.....I kinda took a break this weekend and just enjoyed myself. Have not had a diet break in 4 months, so I earned this. Ate a tad over maintenance, but a lot of sodium laced foods. I'll get back on track this week and going to try and really bring it before my surgery in a month.
Hope all the dads had a great Father's Day and hope everyone else had a great weekend too!

Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I had a busy one. I got a new scale and I lost 1 pound from my first weigh in. I don't think they related, the lost pound and the new purchase. I have them side by side and they seem to show almost the same weight most of the time! I decided to go down to 1300 calories, including supplements. My carbs are from veggies and fruits. So, no more oatmeal for the next couple of weeks. The only grain comes from brown rice California rolls ever other day. Basically, 30g fat, 100g carbs and 130g protein. Let's see how this goes. I also found the workout I like: 6 days on, 1 day off. I'm working now at keeping my workouts under 90 mins a day. It's been very hard for me not to be at the gym for 2 hrs or more especially on weekends!

the success only to you.
