this is what I was presuming would be the case.
I will most likely be giving it a try and I had the exact same thought regarding not always going heavy... was thinking if I do a 3x week 1 heavy day of maybe 1x5, 1 lighter day for speed and 1 day of DDL's, or alternatively a 2x weekly with 1x heavy and 1x light... of course it'd all be in relation to how well recovery/progress comes.
so you're both conventional deadlifting and sumo? I gave sumo's a try after discussion of them and what perpetual said definitely held true I thought they felt a heck of a lot tougher off the ground.
oh man, recently had a stomach bug + high fibre = angus was absolutely not peppered
I have days exactly like that, a lot less frequent now though.... usually studying or playing an instrument does pretty good to take my mind off food.

DLing 2x per week is completely feasible as long as it works in the context of your programming. It's going to be hard to do two ME DL days so I'd say do one heavy day and one speed day.
My recovery is fine. It remains to be seen if this frequency will do anything for my actual 1RM. I'll get back to you after my next meet.

I hate myself that I'm thinking of becoming a slack on legs for fashion/women kind of dudes
i had 3 different girls I was not satisfying sexually comment on my legs being too big
and being a Manlet its no like you can just jump sizes to make room in thighs because then the jeans are too ****ing long
no homo no ion
at the end of the day you have to examine your own goals and motivations. Like the dude who wanted to look like taylor lautner and got told he was stupid and should want to be bigger. that's those other people's goals.
big legs are just one example of the weird homoerotic masculine duality of bodybuilding. you're a pussy if you don't want big legs because of what girls think, but only other dudes care about how big your legs are (to a point obvi I'm not talking about chicken legs)
i always lol at the dude in misc with the "Im not a ******* I don't lift for girls, I lift for other men on the Internet" sigblue checkered button up from banana and jeans <3

I don't give a damn if you don't have tree trunk legs but it looks god damn ridiculous when these dudes have huge upper bodies and no leg development.
I pretty much know I'm not going to get along with somebody when I'm talking to them and they tell me they don't squat and/or deadlift. It's akin to saying "I don't like football" or "Eating isn't fun"."Nutrition for powerlifting: If you are serious about it, you will eat f*cking everything and get strong as $hit." - HamburgerTrain

How big are your legs? I usually get compliments on my legs from females.
Most guys I see with big legs don't wear pants that actually fit. Dudes with big legs wear some ridiculously baggy ****, so no wonder they look awkward.
Maybe I've been lucky, but I've never had too much trouble finding jeans/pants that fit well enough, and my legs are pretty big for my frame

I've found more women like thick muscular legs than do not. Thinking women do not like it is an excuse lazy *******s use to not train their legs, when it isn't even grounded in truth. The women who do not like them are also generally the women who prefer very thin men as their first choice, in which case you shouldn't be lifting at all if this is the type of girl you seek.

Don't lift for anyone other than yourself bro!
Plenty of women out there who like men with big legs, and in my experience the girls who don't like big legs are usually younger girls who like some Chestbrah looking ******* and aren't worth any attention/effort anyway.
Agreed, but small legs don't always = not working on leg development.
I have small legs but it's certainly not as a result of not trying. I squat 3 times a week but have sh!tty chicken leg genetics that means it'll be a lot longer than I'd like before I have decent sized legs (not that it in itself discourages me, I will do what I have to over the long term). You'll have to speak up, I'm wearing a towel.

A story.
So I wake up this morning, ready for my monday morning workout. Stretch and foam roll, go to the store, grab a coffee, drive 25 minutes to campus, park, walk a while to get to the gym... campus is dead... start to worry... get to the weight room... all the lights are off.....

A similar story,
All other campus facilities besides main gym is closed. I realize if I don't get in early it will be way too packed to do anything. Decide to wake up and go to the gym right as it opens.
Fast forward to 4am..still awake, I decide fuk it. Stay up all night, go in and finish workout at 8.
No one was there. Success.
