You are in for some trouble if you ever get into building these little buggers! I would invest in a .22 conversion.

6.5 Grendel currently in the works, and 3 lowers ready for uppers! Got to love election year!

Congrats on your new AR..Sweet gun!
Reloading is popular on the Big Island..when my life settles down a bit I am definitely getting into it. I am fortunate to have several friends that are all avid marksmen/hunters that will help me out. Considering the cost of ammo its an obvious move. I find it all really interesting too. I would like an upgrade of my .223 Romanian AK. I have customized it a bit with a new stock, sight, grip & recoil buffer but it still has a cheap stamped receiver, common with most AK's.
I want to get a Saiga semi-auto 12 gauge next. It is easy to upgrade and 10 rd. mags are available.
    Have fun shooting!
