So what do "normal" teens do over summer?

^ what the **** do you guys do for ****ing 2 and 1/2 months? This is the first day of summer vacation for me and I already know I'm fooked. A typical day for me involves waking up at about 12 pm, playing video games, browsing YouTube, watching tv... quintessential beta things. Pathetic, I know, but I honestly have no idea what else I should be doing. I don't particularly enjoy the company of other people, and I don't know a single person who I'd actually consider worth hanging out with. I don't want this to be a typical "lonely teenager" rant, but I'll just have to accept it for what it is and say that I think I'm the only one at my high school who's like this, and it depresses the hell out of me. So I guess what I'm really asking is advice for getting out and making friends, being happy in general?

summer was awesome, me and my buddies pitched in and bought a go-kart, fixed it up rode it. Spent more time fixing it than riding it... Also fishing !

listen OP ... I used to be like you. Im gonna admit ... i am a loner type person. I like my space but i was feeling as if i was becoming a total loner/loser. Get out as much as possible. Heres what my summer looks like now:


Eat... lift.... eat some more.... work... party.... sleep.... repeat.

Im trying to go clubbing alot more and man do i miss going after chicks and s****. I went clubbing last friday and forgot how fun it is.

lol nice, I'm a commercial plumber (jobs can vary from helping rip up roofs and replacing the drains to digging up roads and replacing sewer lines), and yeah it sucks working that much. Last week I worked 55 hours at the plumbing job and 4 hours lifeguarding.

i dont track macros only total cals. to hit my surplus i do this cool thing called eating. and a lot of it. i'm not very meticulous about eating every 2 hours. i usually eat 6 meals a day. breakfast, lunch, pre workout meal, post workout (shake), dinner, pre bed.

My dad owns a sewer and drain company so we're constantly excavating which means hand digging for me (lol), putting in commercial water heaters/boilers, and doing landscaping type **** once we're done. I've gotten 60-80 hours/week the past couple of months, so I laugh/pity anyone who thinks their job is hard.
