**Ride for Heart Charity - Taking Donations Misc Helps (MOD REPS)

Brahs, I am raising money for Ride for Heart, which is an event run by the Heart and Stroke Foundation (registered charity, established in 1952, heart disease and stroke research). This has been approved by ForumAdmin.

I am asking brahs to please donate money to help the cause. I am hoping to raise $2,500 or more by June 1, 2012. The highest donator will be modrepped by our gracious and wonderful moderators. Any donations of any amount are genuinely appreciated.

I am looking to raise $2,500. It's not like some of the other fundraisers who do $10,000-$20,000, but any little bit will help the charity.

Good nutrition and good exercise really help with prevention, so remember to eat right and do cardio. Also, take fish oil.

Thanks for pointing that out. I do not have anything to do with handling the money. I confirmed this with ForumAdmin before getting approval. (no boostbrah) As with other charities on bb.com, it is done through kintera.org.

I registered with rideforheart and they make a donation page for each fundraiser/rider. The link I have is for the website that RideforHeart/Heart and Stroke Foundation made for me. The money goes through kintera and then goes directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. I don't touch any of it.

A school bus comes by and picks people up.

This may be when someone is injured, cannot finish because of exhaustion, or their bike is damaged and cannot be ridden.
