I don't think it has a name. Get a high tight fade on the sides and back, with long on top, to give a “bouffant” look

My hair is like this anyway but what I ask for is a 2 on the sides keep my hair "long" on top and fade me in the back and sides. You part it and use minimal gel to give it hold.

takes me 10 minutes to style his hair now as opposed to 5 minutes during the first week. This is for anyone looking for some srs styling products without flakes.

Right before he needs to go to the barber:

    [/QUOTE]

If anyone is interested in what hair care products that I use, it's these 3 + a regular hairdryer. Best volume and control without flakes.

I wet his hair down with water and put the mousse in and then dry it on med. heat while brushing it all back and "styling" the hawk, then I add the gell with a fine tooth comb and finish it off with a light hairspray.

It looks like a fluffy baby duck do before but after some gel and spray you get a very soft but solid looking hawk. Here is what I use for his hair:

    Mousse:

    Gel:

    Finishing spray:

Your sons hair is ugly as all fuk. Seriously, if I had to leave the house like that, I'd punch myself in the face every day so that others wouldn't have to. Why would you encourage your child to look like a doofus?

He likes hawks, he is a youngin'. and the style is popular in my area with the older kids (12-17) my son is 10. After he got his hawk, 10 other kids in his grade got hawks and earrings too. Pls. post your hairdo because I am curious to see what 'do you have that is the epitome of style that you feel free to insult children.

    Hawks are for kids.
Nobody in this thread is looking for styling advice or inspiration from a youngin. Your 10 year old kids hawk would probably get much more positive reaffirming attention in the female misc. And to answer your question, I'm currently using the same style as Patrick Bateman, just about 2 inches shorter all around and continuing to grow it out. The picture has been posted many times in this thread. That is a man's haircut.

This is about MALE haircuts which includes young boys and there are people that are looking for "cool" styles for their kids or even haircare products that give the best hold without the glossiness and flakes. Pls. post your pic again since you have already done so many times acc. to you.

^^ Thanks but no one gives a ****. Unless you're a musician or someone famous, no one will take you seriously with that hair cut. I wanna look professional, not a punk. Plus that's too much effort for whatever age your son is, I hope he's getting laid for it. not srs.
And lol at this thread at 67 pages of insecurity, keep top long and sides/back short or just buzz, that's all you gotta do. Play around with it and see what works best for you. There is no alpha haircut, all haircuts look different on everyone.

this is my normal haircut (pic is about 6 months old, i've been lifting since)

sides are trimmed with a 2 guard clipper. usually leave more hair in top/front to spike up.

Any suggestions? does this look ok or horrible?

    Tools used: blowdryer/straightener

    Products used:

Heat protectionspray, a must have if you blowdry/straighten your hair a lot, i swear use this if you don't wanna look like a mug with frizzy dead hair.

^^ stuff helps so much for that "dry, no product, thick look"

Great hold, always used this for that little sharper look+it doesn't add shine.

Just your basic stronghold hairspray, i like this one because some hairsprays tend to go really hard and you got these long hard spikes in your hair, looking unnatural and shiny, this one doesn't.

    Routine:

I step out of the shower and get my hair as toweldry as i can, steal my sisters blowdryer and plugin my straightener, apply heatprotection mouse and brush it through.
Start blowdrying your hair, like many people here say. "blow your hair in the shape you want it to be" So for me that would be top op, except for the front. (When your bangs are longer you can also blowdry the front up because you could fix that later with the straightener), but mine is pretty short so i blowdry it down. Continue blowdrying till your hair is dry, like seriously dry dry, not damp dry but dry dry, You dont want it to even be slightly damp because your straightener wont work as good.

By now your straightener should be warm, straighten your hair, yet again in the direction you want your hair to be when styled, i always start with the back all the way down, then slowly work up. Don't try to straighten large areas at once, but work in small sections. Spending time in straightening pays off. When your hair is fully straightened, start straightening random chunks of hair, especially at the top (you want to get it spiked up), run your fingers through your hair, it should be soft, silky, and ready for styling, if you find out any impurities straighten those out first.

Take a fingertip of schwarzkopf rough, and warm it up between your hands till you see its texture change and look like normal wax. Rub it in your hair, really rub it in there. Dont get too much in the front and you dont want it all to be in the ends of your hair because it'll only make your hair heavy, style it from the roots, that's where the strength comes from, pull the top up and twist a few spikes in it, Take a fingertip of the indestructible wax, warm it up again and make sure you get it between your fingers. Now style it the way you want, use your fingers for pulling up/down/twisting spikes. I recommend doing the top at last because you don't want too much product in it. Now spray it up with your max hold hairspray, yet again try get most of it at the roots for strength+the visual part of your hair looks more natural.

    No cliffs.

Are you really this dense? Look at the ages of the posters in this thread. Nobody is looking for a hair style for their 10 year old. This is I think you're looking for the gymboree forums or something. This is comprised of almost entirely twenty-somethings looking for cool new hair styles. And since you couldn't read my other post well enough, I will say again. I am wearing the same style as Pat Bateman, (a movie character) whose picture has been posted many times in this thread. See, unlike you, I do not plaster images of myself all over the internet (that was you, right?) at other's whims or for E-Acceptance.

Edit: And I have also seen your opinions on men's clothing too. As far as I'm concerned your opinion on anything dealing with men's fashion or style is worth absolutely nothing.

All I see is excuses on why you do not have the balls to post your actual pic in a thread where everyone else is. Oh and something about some psycho killer movie character lulz.

I've posted pictures of myself on this site before, in several threads. I have an avi and progress pics. I also don't give a single fuuuuuk about impressing an attention whoring style-less woman with my haircut on a web-site because I offended her son. And yes Pat Bateman being a psycho movie character totally dejects him having a stylish and professional hair cut. Are you college educated?

Then you would have no problem posting your current hair pic in this thread about the best male hairstyles. Lots of Miscers manned up and posted their pics but you won't even though you claim to have posted many pics of yourself. Oh well...no skin off my back darling and I do not give enough of a schit to do a search.

Keep resorting to insulting little children if it makes you feel better about yourself.

You're either don't understand the argument being made against you, or know that you've already lost and are simply grasping at straws in some futile attempt to avoid looking like a total clod for what you've posted. In any case, nobody really cares about/for your son's haircut and your posting it in this thread adds nothing to the conversation; it works for none of us and in general looks terrible on anybody older than 14.
