    Soy Milk or Cow's Milk

Just curious which one you prefer. Is there much a of a difference besides the fact that cow's milk has a little more protein and +/- fat depending on the type of milk? I drink a glass or two of each every day.

I prefer cows milk, but I like the chocolate, cappuccino, and vanilla soy milk my Kroger sells. Rich and creamy, still has protein and fats.

I'll probably drink 4-5 glasses of whole milk for every cup or two I'll use in a protein shake for extra flavor (vanilla or chocolate soymilk with corresponding ice cream and pudding mix flavors, as well as matching protein powder).

Their coconut milk is damn good too. But neither one has much protein, which is what I'm after.

milk is better than soy. it has a lovely mixture of whey AND cassein protein that almond/soy milk do not.

i am not a nutrition expert, but I am fairly certain that there aren't many things that almond/soy milk offer that milk does not.

of course, soy and almond milk are by no means bad choices. drink what you prefer.

I wouldn't clump soy and almond milk together. Soy is a complete protein whereas almond is not. Soy milk has far more protein per serving as well. Almond milk is fine and all, but it won't help you hit your daily protein goal.

Yeah, i should add that i drink almond milk for the taste, and to cook with. I just enjoy the fact its less calories, has more calcium, less sugar, and no sat. fat. NOT saying im scared of sugar and fat, but i get those through oter foods and almon milk helps me balance my diet.
