Found this on their Myths page:
http://www.jtf2-foi2.forces.gc.ca/mr...eng.asp#myt-03
Myth 3 - JTF 2 does not accept female applicants
Answer - Any Canadian Forces member, irrespective of gender, who completes the JTF 2 selection process and is deemed eligible for service may be given an opportunity to serve with the unit. The standards established for selection and employment with JTF 2 are scientifically designed and validated at the Canadian Forces Dwyer Hill Training Centre in order to ensure that the members selected will be capable of accomplishing all tasks assigned to the unit. These standards are not gender specific and encompass the individuals’ physical abilities, professional skill sets, integrity, psychological profile, mental aptitude, discipline, and maturity. These standards are not just used for selecting new members, they are maintained throughout the unit and are ingrained in the JTF 2 ethos.

i bench 355 and can do over 100 consecutive pushups, dat dere training pushups with 3 plates on your back
couldnt do 24 pullups tho at my weight atm..jesus fuk
on a side note i calculated it and id assume id get in the 115-120 range
i ran an 8 minute 43 second 1.5 mile when i was 16 and im a little faster now than i was then so maybe in the 8:20 range aka a 22-23 on this test
i can get a score of 30 easily for the pushups, maybe around 55-65 situps (not sure ive never done this) aka about 20 pts, i can do about 13-14 pullups aka 19-20 pts, and bench 160 for another score of 30..but if this is right after the pushups id probably more bench around 140kg aka 26
total of (roughly) 118MOD NEGGED CREW

I seriously doubt ANYONE on misc is benching tree fiddy and running 1.5 in 7:30. Bro.....lettuce beef cereal...a 7:30 1.5 mile is smoking fast if you're benching ANYTHING over 235
I always love these running time threads, I think there is more bull**** than any other fitness-related topic.
EDIT:
I'm smoking the pull-up, push-up, sit-up as well....with even minimal REST. But, when is the last time I went for MY FASTEST 1.5 mile followed IMMEDIATELY by my push-up, pull-up, sit-up max?

FYI you can apply directly to Special Forces in Australia, I believe it's been a success.
They changed it a few years ago because people that REALLY wanted to be in Special Forces didn't want to enrol general entry and into a 4 year contract just for the CHANCE of making it to SF.
So if you're really awesome and your entire goal is SF, you go take the tests straight up and if you fail you are under no obligation to join and if you succeed you're good to go.

Doesnt really matter when like someone said all this stuff is done right after each other..
From the sounds of it you go
1) swim
2) Run the 1.5 mile
3) Do push ups
4) Then sit ups
5) The pull ups
6) and then once you have done all that you gotta do the bench press
The stuff you said you could do you most likely wouldnt be able to do cuz you would be so burned out by the time you got to them.

finally someone gives a realistic eval of themselves. i read all the posts before this, and any 270 person that thinks they can run a mile in even 8 mins is out of their mind. when i was in i was running my 2 mile around 13:30, and i was one of the faster guys out of Soldiers that ran every day (combat arms). get real guys...you can't run nearly as fast (or do as many PERFECT pushups or situps) as you think you can. have someone actually in the military judge you...
edit: and as for pullups...PERFECT form guys. i can only do 13-15...again...get real

I would hit about 21's across the board except for the run probably. But then again, I don't know how long I have to rest in between workouts. In which order I would be doing them.
If I have to do them all non stop with no breaks what so ever, score is gong to be much lower. As of 02/10/16

Bench - 225 x 10
Deadlift - 385 x 5
Squat - 315 x 5

lulz at people thinking that running at 1:15 for 6 laps and benching 350 is an easy task...they are easy if done independently...but together? That is world class right there...maybe there are a few world class decathletes out there who can do it...
the pull up, situps and pushups are by far the easiest test.....24 pull ups may seem a bit intimidating, but achievable in 4 months of good practice...

Serious? What kind of ***gy time joint task force, special forces bullsht does canada run? BRB having physical requirements so low you'd have women fighting for number 1 spot in the squad. Please, if any of you can't get a perfect in this, you are a typical miscer who doesn't even lift.
Not serious, i'd be lucky to even be halfway on that list.Registered owner of Dan_Staat's sister

I'm pretty sure, and by pretty sure I mean sure, that you can not only enlist at 17, but get an 18X contract, which allows you to go straight into SF (so long as you pass selection).
I like the part where he put all sorts of other words into my mouth, though. Never said I "became SF" at 17. I didn't even get MOS-Q. You go to basic training during summer vacation between grades 11 and 12, then finish high school, then go back for AIT.
Beyond that, I didn't even originally enlist into SF. I started in a different MOS and cross trained.
Dumb motherfukers 1) don't know what they are talking about, and 2) assume way too much.
Also funny of that dumbass to assume that if I was frauding, that he would be the one to expose it. Gee, it's not like I've been a member of the board for almost 5 years, met many other military guys from it, even served with them. No wait, they must be in on the fraud. It's a conspiracy.
Yes, jimmies are rustled.
