    Should I take the standard 5g of creatine even on rest days?

    Assuming you workout 4 or more times a week and take 3-5 grams a day on training days, no need to supplement with more creatine on off days.

    If you've got creatine mono, its pretty damn cheap. No reason not to. I take it on my two off days but if you happen to skip a day you're not going to notice any difference.

    Its not a big deal if you skip a rest day or 2, you should have enough for full saturation anyways.

    I personally skip a day here or there on my rest days just from forgetting.

    You can maintain your creatine saturation by using 5 grams on rest days. If you forget a day or so, it shouldn't make much of a difference as it takes about 1 month for saturated creatine levels to return to baseline.
