Met this chick off POF. She's six years older. The date was going good, was making her laugh, she was having a good time, etc but when it came time to pay the bill I suggested that we split it 50/50. (it was only 35 dollars, and I already played for her cover). She said okay and went to the ATM. She came back and said that the ATM wasn't letting her take money out and then she said she will try and take money out at the near by 711. Anyways I paid and started walking with her.
I said "so you're not upset that i wanted to split the bill" cause I noticed she was acting different. She started saying **** like "I have never been on a first date where a guy asked the girl to pay". "that really made the age difference stand out", "hope you learn from this in your future dates"... "you dont ask a female put and then dont pay for the full sate" I was like wtf
Didn't even give her a hug goodbye, I was so shocked...
Misc am I wrong for asking to split the bill?
