PPV is available now. I won't buy anything other than a FMM fight.
Got nothing but respect for Cotto, but Floyd is gonna tax that ass.
Honestly though, I'm almost just as excited to watch Alvarez/Mosley. Alvarez is a monster and he's only 21.

In on this thread. The General Misc goes full retard when talking about boxing for the big fights. Brb only taking an interest in Mayweather and Pacquiao.
Mayweather and Alvarez are obvious winners. Would be great to see Mosley turn back the years but it's not going to happen.
Will rep for clear HBO streams. The UK coverage is god awful.
Did anyone see Huck vs Afolabi earlier tonight? One of the best fights I've seen over the last 12 months and one of the best cruiserweight title fights I've ever seen. Both men battled to a draw, can't wait till they fight again.Misc Number 1. Boxing Analyst and Pundit

It's the typical misc "omg I watched 24/7 a few times and Marquez looks really motived!" thing. Happens every fight. Nobody is doubting the motivation of Floyd's opponents, but so many non-boxing fans act like Floyd isn't a technical genius.
Wow. The MGM Grand is already packed. Amazing.DreDay66

Key to Cotto's game for this fight will be a stiff jab and for him to go after the body....He's got the best left hook to the body but it has gone M.I.A the last 2-3 years. At Junior Welterweight he would ko or drop almost everyone with a left hook to the body, He def. has to use that punch for him to have a chance. Floyd only takes fights he can win these days so It will be a long shot for Cotto to pull off the upset especially him being a 8 to 1 dog as of today. There is a reason why Floyd won't fight Sergio Martinez or Pacquiao

Hope Mosley pulls off the upset so Floyd can't hand pick Saul next since he is so raw and not ready and we need Ortiz to beat Berto in the rematch again so Floyd can't pick Berto...that would only leave Sergio and Manny left so he will def. get chewed out for not fighting those two guys if Saul and Berto both lose.

Solid analysis, but the bolded part is completely wrong. Floyd has fought everyone put in front of him. Manny is the only one he hasn't fought but Pac won't take a standard drug test (the same one all other opponents have no problem taking).
Do you want him to go fight Klitschko or something? He's a welterweight and he's already moved up to light middle (although weighing in much lighter than 154) just to take big fights. What else do people want him to do?DreDay66

Floyd is the best when It comes to picking his opponents, He knew Ortiz was too raw and not ready for the big lights to do anything and guess what...Victor "Hands Down" Ortiz was, He never would of fought Cotto when he was undefeated and at his best and the same with Mosley when they were both in the 140lb division when Shane was ko'ing people left and right. If Floyd wanted to fight the best he would be fighting the likes of Martinez and Pacquiao. Don't get me wrong Floyd is 1 or 1a in the fight game today but he doesen't take the risks someone like Pacquiao does...guy is fighting dudes who walk around at 190-200lbs when he walks around at under or around 150lbs. Floyd only stepped up to the plate when he had too..when he wasnt famous...like when he fought Chico Coralles when he was a beast and undefeated and De La Hoya which was a fight he had to take to become a superstar in the fight game.
He already agreed to all the testing except the day before which is fine since you can't mask roids inside 24hrs..heck It will stay in your system for WEEKS, It's not an excuse, Any real fight fan knows Floyd doesen't take more risks than he has too...
Floyd said initially take the Olympic testing and we can do it at 50-50..Pac didn't want to do it but he agreed to all the test and now Floyd says he will only do a 80-20 split....Floyd has changed his demands everytime and makes a ton of excuses...here is some proof for you (give me a sec) I been following the fight game since I was 12 and Boxing is my fav. sport and boxed myself when I was younger and you def. just sound like a typical hardcore Mayweather fan...making excuses for him not fighting the top p4p guys. FLOYD doesen't even let his opponents wear REYES Gloves..which are punchers gloves..and makes them wear Grant's or Everlasts lol...Next demand for Pacquiao will be he has to wear 12oz Grant Gloves which are the softest gloves in the game haha

Agreed. Floyd has fought every worthy boxer he could have to date. At the end of the day, the general boxing public does not know the full story of the Pacquiao-Mayweather saga, but personally, as an outside observer, I don't think Floyd is scared to fight Manny.
Besides, Floyd said a few weeks ago that he would be happy to fight Martinez if the fans wanted that fight. He even said he'd jump up to middleweight for it, although I believe he would only fight him at light middleweight. Martinez is a great fighter but he's not on Floyd's level. He struggled at times against Darren Barker last year.Misc Number 1. Boxing Analyst and Pundit

I can tell you just started watching boxing.
First off, Mayweather ducked Margarito in 2006 when Margarito was in his prime. (Read about it)
But I want to get to my main point, blood testing. Drug Testing by Blood in Boxing outside of Olympics has never been used. Standard drug testing in boxing is done by Urine. Which boxers have to give randomly throughout there training and always right after a fight. Which Pacquiao has always passed. Drug testing by BLOOD has never been used until Mayweather wanted blood testing because he thinks Pacquiao is on PED's.
My last point is the fact that Pacquiao has BENT OVER BACKWARDS and is willing to take random blood testing which boxing does not even REQUIRE. BLOOD TESTING for Pacquiao vs Mayweather has not been the issue for the fight not happening in the last 6 months. ITS THE PURSE SPLIT. Mayweather wants 80/20 while Pacquiao wants 50/50.
Mayweather wins by Decision vs Cotto tonight.
