    Question on macros and veggies

My macros and stats are below; my question relates to steamed mixed veggies falling inside/outside my macro range. i've historically read that you can almost eat an unlimited amount of broccoli, cauliflower, etc. However, when tracking my macro range, my veggie intake (approx ~3 cups a day) is forcing me to exceed my daily limit on carbohydrates.

for example, i am able to track and stay within my calorie intake for the day (lets say ~1800 cals/day - side note: this intake is for a 1.5lb loss per week...and has been discussed in another thread, if you think this is too low, search for that thread and post there, this thread is for a separate issue - thanks ).

however, while staying within my calorie intake, i am going too low on my fat macro and too high on my carb macro due to the veggies.

    Stats:
    weight - 167
    height - 5'11
    goal - 1.5lb deficit/week

    Macros (as calculated):
    cals - 1800
    protein - 195g
    fat - 85g
    carbs - 100

Macros (as achieved per day based on my current diet):
    cals - 1800 (within +/-0.5%)
    protein - between 200-250g/day
    fat - between 50-75/day
    carbs - 130-160/day

clearly im substituting fat for carbs; but substitution is due to veggie/bean/milk intake.

my question - should i cut back on the veggie/bean/milk intake in order to decrease my carb intake and substitute this with fat intake? or are macros reasonable based on diet?

Make certain you get your protein and fat intake squared-away first. Then, work to get in everything else you need. If you don't have a large enough daily calorie allottment to fit in everything, you might want to rethink your total cals/day number, and bump it up a bit. IMO, 1 1/2 pounds per week drop is a little bit too steep for an already-fairly-lean guy under 200 pounds.

Decrease your protein intake to about 175g and increase your carb intake IMO.

    edit:
FYI the macros that you listed total 1945 calories

What i would do is get in my protein/fats, and pick my favorite carb sources to fill in the rest of the calories
You can remove or decrease the amount of milk if you enjoy eating more veggies or beans, or the other way around.
I would remove or decrease the milk, but that's just ME and because i love veggies and beans much more than drinking my calories
