spray tan or dream tan ?

Some shows do not allow Dream Tan. Check on that first.

As long as they are a reputable tanner, go with the Spray Tan!

Getting sprayed at the event is much easier, but it also costs more. Check around to see if the company that is spraying has done good work in the past.

This might just be me, but I have a strong hatred towards dream tan. It smears, transfers on to other surfaces, is hard to get completely off, etc. I literally just threw away two containers bc I knew I was never going to use it again. The only way I would use it again is if a judge told me that it was the only thing between me winning an overall.

But that's just me. Go with the spray tan.

dream tan makes a mess! you're better off getting sprayed. less hassle and stress before getting on stage, and the tan doesn't smear. also i find that the dream tan hides some lines if you apply too much of it in an area. the spray tan is way cleaner and gives a nice crisp look, not sweaty and wet

I've gotten sprayed by a friend (she has her ifpa pro c. and her own spray tanner) but I dont feel it came out that well, and it was runny when I started to sweat. I sprayed like 2-3 coats of jan tana like 2 days pre comp.
kind of blotchy but was dark

second comp I used dream tan 2. Tbh not as messy as everyone says it is. It actually has a nice crystal/sparkle to it. I only ordered a 2oz tub last time and was conservative because I didnt want to run out. I think I needed to be a little darker, but im going with dt2 again next week and will definitely apply much more to get a deeper/darker look.

<<< 3 coats of pro tan and 1 coat of dream tan. Pro tan is kinda orange IMO. If you have to choose one, chose dream tan.
Warning, you cannot touch anything or anyone while you have dream tan on!
