    How much fat is left under the loose skin ?

    Hi everyone, I understand i still have fat under my loose skin but i was wondering if its mostly fat or loose skin ? I've been working out for a while and progress on my stomach area is not improving much. I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice. I still have a lot of side stomach fat which is also hard to get rid of. Is there still a lot of work to do ? i am 158 lbs. advice on how i should approach this. go on a cut, bulk or just slow cut ? its almost summer time guys ! got to look good ! hahaa

    Really can't tell much from those grainy, dimly-lit photos to be honest. Can't discern loose skin or really even approximate %BF.

    I dont see any loose skin. I see someone who has lost 70lbs and can get the body he wants w more diet.

    You just have more fat to loose. And for loosing 70lbs your lucky

    That's not loose skin lol. Or at least take a better picture with real lighting so we can see what you're talking about. But based on those pics, I definitely don't see any loose skin.

    Skin is the thickness of about a piece of paper. You may have fat attached to that skin though that could prevent the skin from contracting. If you grab a deep grab in your abdominal and fold it over onto itself, anything thicker than a piece of paper folded over is fat. Just keep cutting to get the look you want.

    thanks for all the replies ! so i guess its mainly fat, sorry if the pictures are kinda dim and blurry but i do have very minor loose skin. I've been working out for about a year now, lifting. its hard to see any definition but do you guys think i should cut down to around 148? Then start a clean slow bulk again ?

    I think you should cut down to where you're happy. But to answer your question more directly, if I were in you're position i'd cut a little more and start a clean bulk like you said. Great job on the 70lb loss!

    thanks for all the help ! yeah i feel like i should cut a bit more until i have a flat stomach. Was wondering if anyone has a guess of how much weight I need to lose in order to see my abs or at least a flat stomach ? Thanks !

    That's not loose skin, that's fat (and almost none at that). Even though I haven't seen your upper body which would be the most reliable indicator, I'd say it's time to bulk because it doesn't look like you have any muscle in your midsection.
    Some people just don't want to hear the simplicity of it all, because then there's no excuse when they fail.

    Bellyfat can hang down when you lean forward like in your last pic. You don't have any 'loose skin' issue to worry about in the way people refer to it, and you certainly will not need any type of surgery. In fact you're quite lucky after losing 70 lbs. Just focus on building lean mass and losing fat and put this behind you because when you get lower BF and more mass you won't have that little hanging bellyfat anymore.

    Bro its not loose skin stop worrying skin is quite stretchy for all people when you plank the weight of your fat is what is pulling you stomach area down and hanging, seriously dude its not loose skin at all you have nothing to worry about dude, well done of the weight loss aswell!
