Does not compute.
I think most traditionalists would even shake their head at me for making it with bourbon instead of rye whiskey .
Finally stepped on a scale this morning after eating my face off for weeks. 194 so basically have gained a pound and half in the last 3-4 weeks. I'll take it plenty of room to spare for the 198s.New log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=144101461

Just got the next week's orders in from Mike - for the first time in 21 weeks workign with him, he's bumping up the fatigue percent. Interesting to see how he's manipulating things to head into the meet - first, it was the first time he's put in any 10RPE work outside of a mock meet day, and now fatigue percents are up to 6-9% instead of the normal 4-6%. I assume there's some kind of supercompensation effect for doing that for like 4-5 weeks and then rolling into a deload week before the meet. Will have to pick his brain later.

COMMENTS:
Whew, beat up after today's session. Felt like a ton of volume and I was just drenched in sweat by the end of it. Unfortunately my camera froze up in the middle of my 305 set so it's like sasquatch - just claiming that it exists but I don't have the video to prove it. I know Paul is going to give me some **** again on the RPEs on the pin press but I swear I tried! The set at 235 "felt" heavy but was trying to be conscious of where I realistically thought my limits were before going up to 245. It looks a million times better than it feels - the downside with filming with the GoPro is that it doesn't have a playback screen. I think if I had seen this or the set @ 235, I might have made a different jump.
Hamstrings were back to about 95% today so everything is heading in the right direction.New log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=144101461

I may try some declines for ya this week. Or try some on my "deload" week. I've never liked how declines felt but anything is worth a shot.
So far in the past year I've discovered that overhead doesn't seem to improve my bench, but if I drop overhead, my bench goes down...
That's all I've got

With the declines, it seems to help bench because you learn how to more involve your lats in the bench....this is all besides the obvious of handling more weight, closer grip so working the triceps, etc.
I've also dropped all tricep exercises as well.Better Body Sports
