    To generalize and say that if you are over 5'8 you have to weigh over 160 before you should have abs is retarded.
    Cause then you have alot of idiots bulking and having no abs showing, thinking they are on on the right path.

    I agree, i'm bulking right now, i'm at like 124 I think. My friend who hits the gym with me has more toned arms and abs but I still got abs and arms, my arms and abs are bigger but they don't look like i'm 4% bodyfat, hes always bragging but i'm always pumping down more reps on everything in the gym.

    Well said. I'm up almost 20lbs and not regretting it all. Still another 45 to go before I cut. I'd rather bulk and then cut and look aesthetic than be 120lbs with abs

    Depends if your going for aethesics or strength, and I think you'll find most the people in the teen section are going for the first, so the extra bulk isn't as required as plenty of girls like skinner abs bodies.
