Supposedly he wants a two year deal. Doubt the Yankees will do that with Andujar and a possibly Manny Machado signing in 2018.

Id be happy with CC on a 1 year deal, I dont wanna give up Clint Frazier for Gerrit Cole...he doesnt give me a warm fuzzy. If you're gonna trade for a starter, try for Archer...

Archer is a pipe dream. He's team controlled for 4 years at a 7.25 AAV which is peanuts. He'd cost you the whole farm

Frazier would just be a START to get Cole and his (4.26 ERA in the NL central ).....

Archer would cost 3 prospects and some throw ins......we have it. And if Cashman pulls another genius move.....maybe get it down to 2........who knows

Cole still has #1 stuff. He gave up 31 HR last year (ouch) but "Besides" that he wasn't really bad. if anything maybe his value is lower beacause of last year.

Wouldnt underestimate what Cashman can pull off......dont see either happening anyway. I see Todd Frazier and CC coming back is what I see......

I think harper will do a good job in 2019 breaking up all the right handed power(judge, stanton, sanchez, machado) O and guess a healthy bird and didi won't hurt either.. guess having the top rated prospect in minors( gleyber can bat 8th) and well find someone to hit 9th and DH
