Nice collars. Doesn't your equipment get rained on outside on the balcony?

Damn it Mike! Now I have to keep my eyes out for OMs as well as Universals? If your ever planning on traveling through this part of the province, come see me. I don't have many OMs, probably 400lbs and you may be able to pry them from my hands if I happen to find more vintage Yorks.

I've ordered a pair of OMEZH 25lbs a few days ago from an italian seller, and I had the unpleasant surprise to discover a disturbing change of style:
As I was expecting for a nice 7 holes revolver style, instead I received a bigger & thiner 3 holes plate...

Since when OMEZH 25lbs have changed like that?!
I knew OUEZ 10lbs does not respect the 7 holes holder, but for cast iron plates....I'm very disappointed...At least, I wish the external diameter should have been the same.

I don't know. I am curious as well. I really don't think they are older as we would have seen more of these throughout this thread. My guess would be that they are a European offering only. If they are a new design and they are doing away with the 7 hole in the 25's, that stinks.
Please keep us posted as to what Olympian comes back with.▪█──────█▪ Equipment Crew #64 ▪█──────█▪

I received their answer today:
Dear Maxime
We checked in warehouse, unfortunately all the one with slot we have here are with 3 slots.
IVANKO sent us all these.
The only we have with 7 slots are these, 25lbs.: (note: they have a few OMEZS)
Let us know how to fix up the problem.
I think it's dead to recover classic 7 holes OMEZH from them. I'm a bit lazy to send them back 50lbs, It will cost me more shipping fees than other things. I'll try to ask a discount for a future purchase instead. Actually, the difference of the external diameter with classic plates disturb me more that the fact that they have only three holes...

Got this curl bar for free. I'm not very familiar with curl bars, so I'm hoping to learn from the collective wisdom of the board here. From what I could find, it is my impression that this is a discontinued import bar that came with a pair of COT-1.25 (unfortunately this bar did not come with collars.) Is that accurate? The other OBZ-20 bars I have seen were not chromed and had bushings, while this bar is chromed and does not have bushings. What's the story?
Speaking of the COT-1.25 collars, was there some sort of Costco or other retail package with a tricep bar and some O2B plates that had collars? On a craigslist meetup I came across a set with an unmarked barbell (had an Ivanko sticker on it), a tricep bar, and some O2B plates. There was a pair of what looked like COT-1.25 and COT-2.5, with the compression rings, but no markings. Does this curl bar match up with these? Was it part of a set?
Thanks in advance for your insights.

The Costco set did have unmarked collars but they're a tad smaller and lighter than the regular 1.25 and 2.5 collars. I own a set. I had the whole Costco set but got rid of everything else. The bars that came with that set were just cheap economy bars, unmarked as you said.

Revolver 100s
Just wondering... being that so many people on these forums are in North east... does anyone have 100lb revolvers? in 3 years of searching ive seen(and missed ) 3 pairs in total... i know a bunch of locals that have 1000lb + sets, yet no one has 100s... have just about anything to trade for a pair or 2

Those look like the "Skinny Script" plates which many used to think were unbranded Ivankos until the man himself set the record straight in this thread. They're apparently really nicely made plates but not Ivankos. No idea who actually produced them.
As for me, I scored another haul of OMEZS and OM change today. Talked him down to $0.85/lb. Really nice breakdown of sizes too:
45x8
35x2
25x4
10x6
5x6
2.5x4
1.25x2
This brings me up to a bit over 1400lbs of Ivanko plates, mostly OMEZS and OM change, plus a few OM 45s and 25s and a few Os.Last edited by c00nc4t; 10-09-2016 at 06:07 PM.

Yeah there are a bunch of colored ROEZH sitting on the market here as well because the seller wants way too much for them. I hadn't seen many OMEZS either but recently a bunch have been popping up so I've been snagging them. There's another guy selling 1500lbs of them but he wants $3500 for them, which pretty much the new price, and he won't budge. I may let him sit on them for a few months and then offer him a more reasonable price. I'd love to have ~3000lbs of them because I'm looking to expand my personal training side business out from my home gym to a small humble studio soon and I'd love to have it full of OMEZS. They really are great plates, functionally I prefer them to revolvers even if they don't look quite as cool.
